After being told by my Uni that all good journalists have blogs, I finally have decided to look into it. Do any of you guys know any uk based blog hosts.From what ive been told, i need a domain name, a host and then wordpress to start one. I don't want to pay a lot but all the american hosts ive heard of cost like £5/month for everything so there must be a reputable uk one that cheap

Not really sure on which you would be best using but if you search "blogspot" then I think they host blogs for free.

thanks. I keep hearing horror stories about certain hosts that charge a lot, but the same with free ones so its tough to know which is best

I've got a blog on WordPress and it's free.

Depends if the University are insisting that you have your own domain name or not.

I've had LiveJournal and WordPress blogs (both free) in the past but would say that WordPress is definitely the better of the 2.

A while back.

Remember, I kinda had to leave it...

T had the link and was leaving on pretty bad terms with everyone. So I thought he would be vindictive enough to send the link to my boss. That would have been a disaster. I hid all of the posts and migrated them over to my new WordPress one.

Started using my blog more regularly now, and do a bit of writing for All Out Cricket.
