Sleeping Dogs Empty Sleeping Dogs

There's been a lot of hype surrounding this game and it's been given pretty decent review scores. It looks more or less like a GTA clone only it's set in China but the principles look the same.

Anybody getting this?

Cheers guys.

I'm interested but I'll wait and see what others say before investing.

Its as you say FreekShow getting positive feedback and should be worth a spin. Seems like it s improved on the flawed elements ( combat, hand and weapons ) on GTA IV. I'm out my house till Monday will give a wee bit feedback then?

I played this for a bit yesterday and enjoyed every minute. Visually it is one of the best games I've played, they've done a fantastic job recreating the streets of Hong Kong.

The combat style is more precise than GTA, on GTA you can button mash your way through most fights, on this you have to be precise and press the buttons at the right time to string devistating combinations together.

Certainly looking forward to playing more later tonight.

I've completed the triad side of the game, the ending is superb. Really well thought out.

Completed it a couple of weeks ago, and its well worth it, you can pick it up for about 20 odd quid now.

I got the platinum on it so I'm feeling a bit good about it, most of the trophys achievements can be got pretty naturally through the game, the only irritating one was the gambling.
