Scottish Cup Empty Scottish Cup

As I'm sure everyone will know the Scottish cup draw was made yesterday.

Now my question is why is the 4th round being played the 1st weekend in December. Normally this round takes place after the new year and has for as long as I can remember.

Does anyone know why the change?
