Injuries to Indian bowlers Empty Injuries to Indian bowlers

Theres been a fair bit of talk about Australias seam bowling injury rate but I didnt realise just how badly this has also hit India.
Zaheers ongoing problems are well known, and possibly hampering him in this series.
Umesh Yadav looked like he might be vaguely competant, now injured.
Aaron, Sreeseanth, Kumar Patel and Pathan all also unavialble.
Sharma has come back into the side after an injury layoff

Obvuiously you can debate the effectiveness of these guys even when they are fit but thats a heck of a list.
Is this typical of Indian cricket?

Could part of the problem they have in developing seamers be that they arent being looked after in the same way that Englnds (now) are?

Of all the seamers you mention above PSW only Zaheer Khan, Praveen Kumar and Umesh Yadav are Test class.

Seeesanth, Ishant and Aaron aren't Test class.

Pathan and Patel they where exciting bowlers, but mismanaged by their selectors.

ID say the more worrying thing would be the lack of world class spinners.

A country that used to find spinners 10 a penny, now seem to be scraping the barrel.
