Newcastle are now 18th as it stands. Swansea were on the holidays, if Wigan weren't so nervous I think they could have had a couple more.

Swansea are playing Itay Schecter up front, who hasn't scored a league goal since October 2011.

Re: 2012/13 Premier League discussion thread Part 6
Basically every result since saturday has gone against us. Even Villa are safe now and if chelsea win tomorrow, they will go to villa park with a reserve side in preparation for the europa final. Wigan will beat villa last day aswell because villa will be home and dry, funny how that was billed as the decider.....couldnt be further from the truth. can only see us getting a draw at qpr and we r relying heavily on WBA now at norwich.
Newcastle or Norwich for me, both deserve to go down in my opinion....woeful ends to the season. Pardew is in a world of hurt now. I still think the embarrasingly shocking refereeing display by halsey between wigan and newcastle at the DW has cost us massively, basically a 6 point swing in his decisions.
So depressing. Ashley will be screwing missing out on that television money. All Carr's transfer targets can be thrown out the window. We not looking at Aubameyang anymore, more like Nugent or James Vaughan......shocking

If you are Harry Redknapp are you going to want to beat Newcastle and help them join you in the Championship next season?

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! Caldwell is an embarrassment, just attack him constantly.
@Freek......That's what I was saying this week. We would be more of a long term threat to QPR next season than Wigan or Norwich.

If I'm brutally honest, if Newcastle can't beat a QPR team that was on its holidays in september, they deserve to go down

Re: 2012/13 Premier League discussion thread Part 6
Yeah they should be going to Loftus Road and winning anyway, agreed.
I think they'll win there. I can also see Arsenal hammering a deflated Wigan on Tuesday too.

That's why Wigan should go down. They can't defend.

OH MY GOD, THANKYOU. This is also good as a Swansea win should put pressure on WBA to get a result at Norwich to help them achieve an 8th place finish.
Just see it out.

On a more important note do Swansea have the nicest looking away kit in the PL? I think so.

Too Christmassy for my liking. It's certainly not the Everton away kit from last year. Ahem.

Gary Caldwell has put in probably the worst performance in the Premier League for a long time. Awful defending.

Worse than Samba against Fulham?
That is the benchmark.
