Tagging other posters

Would it be possible to tag a poster by default when you quote them or when you post a comment that you want them to see. That way they get a notification that there is a post on a particular thread meant specifically for them.

Furthermore if your username is mentioned in a post you could also get a notification.

It's not part of the functionality of the site host I am afraid, hopefully tagging is something they will consider in the future.

The best option at the moment is the My Posts link on the toolbar. This shows all threads you have posted in and any replies to those.
