Froome Mystery Empty Froome Mystery

Chris put in a terrific performance in the Vuelta, all credit to his fighting; 2nd place to Bertie a marvellous achievement. The Spanish public voted him the most combative rider.

Then we have the huge cash offer to a rider winning all three Grand Tours, with Chris a contender.

A few weeks later...what the hell are we reading? He might not compete in the 2015 Tour because it's
too moutainous? Where's his "British Spirit"? Oh, I forgot, he's not really British!

Maybe there was something not revealed about his differences with Wiggo.

In the War, suspect airmen had "LMF" marked on their medical records-Lack of Moral Fibre.

I wonder what is going on here......

Wouldn't proven doper (and your second favourite Hero) Bertie have LMF marked on him?

no one's going to win the three GTs, you only have to see how destroyed Contador was when he went for the Giro-TdF double. Basically if you ride to win the TdF you won't win any of the other two.

The TdF in recent years seems to be going towards a more "climber-friendly" route certainly, next year's route is a bit ridiculous IMO, an early ITT and then nothing. I'm all for mountain excitement, but there has to be a bit in it for the all-rounders too (not so much Froome, who can climb with the best of them, but someone like Peraud has been really screwed with this one).

Maybe Froome is looking at a Giro-Vuelta double? He has after all already won the TdF but none of the others...

Accept what you both say (welcome back DJ!). I guess I just hanker after a "blood 'n' guts", do or die, all out attempt by him. The reality is that there aren't any Merckxs or Hinaults around any more. (And I know that they didn't achieve the feat either.)
