Thought I'd start a discussion thread for this year's S.o.O. Series.

All I can say is that I hope Arthur Beetson's prediction (from a few years back) was correct... and that "8 consecutive series wins" is as far as it goes.

Good start from Qld. The pressure is on already. They always look dangerous with the ball.

I think they'll make this 100th origin match something special... as Darius Boyd goes over in the corner.

Looks like Brett Morris popped his shoulder scoring his try... he looked in agony. But it's back in now and he's good to go again.

High quality match. Hayne had another blinder.
Brick wall defence from both sides and some threatening forays from Qld towards the end but NSW hung on to win 12-8.

Wow.
That was the most nerve wracking and intense match I've ever witnessed. Brutal as usual and not pretty to watch.
Ears are still buzzing... but that might have something to do with Cahill's goal against the Dutch.

Cracking game. Absolutely delighted that NSW won.

Brilliant tough intense game, congrats NSW (I tend to follow Queensland as family there), fully deserved series win. Needed in my opinion, as will breath new life into it as another Queensland win would have killed it.

A great Series which i thought NSW just about deserves to win.
