First topic message reminder :

May be an age thing, but is Sean seriously saying he talks to people with his testicles out to see how long they take to notice? And that doing so is a laugh?

Never thought I would say this, but bring back National Service if so.

Not at all, I was merely trying to steer the conversation back to food.

This is my favourite cake - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel_food_cake

You can't buy them in the UK, except as powdered mixes, which don't taste quite the same. I keep meaning to make one from scratch. Last year (or the year before) I got an Angel Food Cake pan for my birthday.

Does anyone watch Ancient Aliens on the History Channel? Had a spot of insomnia last night, and once arguing about boxings drug testing measures with the great soothsayer Strongback and the Mackem Mawler got boring, I gave it a look... The Ancient Egyptians were so obviously not of this earth.

Pity Tina, it's a fantastic show - they tend to ask very good questions, and then come up with comically unrealistic answers...
"Why are the great pyramids in such specific geographic locations?"
"Obviously the ancients were aliens who needed to harness the power of the sun for their spaceships which travel at hyperspeed."

That is one of my favourite things about conspiracy theorists. When there is not an easy or obvious answer to a question they see that as carte blanche to fill in the gaps with absolute mumbo jumbo.

I find myself watching weird shows on tv now. Ever since I found out who Red John was in The Mentalist, I've taken to odd shows like the Lingerie Football League, big fan of the Chicago Bliss.
