So are we putting Lesnar v Cena in place for Summerslam?

I'm guessing that whole interaction between Heyman and The Authority was a hint at that after Cena retains at Battleground, and Rollins fails to get the cash in (not lose, just fail to cash in due to Ambrose stalking him still) that The Authority will turn to Heyman and Lesnar

He may not be the greatest technical wrestler, but Reigns has star quality in spades. I'm going to make a not very brave prediction and back him for Hollywood.

Still better than TNA.

I hope Rollins will cash in at Battleground. Cena - Lesnar being for the title is lose/lose at this point. I'd give it to the top singles fued in the business right now. Push Ambrose and Rollins to new heights.

Im going to have to be honest, I wasnt interested in Sting until that promo. I know its only for the game but was the perfect reveal. If Sting is going to get in a WWE ring they'll need to really push his past to get him over with the young crowd.

Good pop when Sting was revealed. Favourite part of the show even though it had nothing to do with the actual Raw. The show was very meh apart from Heyman's Lesnar tease.

Next week is from Miami so should be a hot crowd and a good show. The ones after PPV's have been very good so far this year. Hopefully Lesnar is back

Sting's saving grace is the face paint hides the ageing. He looked intense, wouldve been less so if they showed him without the coat and not full on face paint.

It was good though overall, although it was immediately disappointing when it was only for the game.

I've been really impressed with Reigns since the split of The Shield, I have been a fan of him for a while now but even I think he's performed much better than I ever expected him to. To think back to when The Shield first debuted, and how limited he was to know is ridiculous. In the ring he has everything really well done, the characterisations are really good and popular and he's actually very entertaining as a wrestler despite his lack of technical skills. It's on the mic that he has really impressed me though, it has always been his obvious weak point but he has more than held up against the likes of Cena and Orton who are considered some of the better promoers in WWE. Crucially I think he gets the crowd. Working with Ambrose and Rollins has made him improve immensely. I do think it might be the most rapid improvement in a WWE wrestler that I have ever seen.

Sting bit was decent and i can't believe people haven't said more about the CM Punk mention. Maybe he has agreed a new deal?

Good go home show.

Cena vs Lesnar is a 100% for Summer Slam. Lesnar to win. Bryan to beat Lesnar on return. Rollins to cash in on Bryan.

Rollins look legit injured last night. Don't know if it was a work or not, possibly they were trying to get the main event over with having the 4 contestants in the ring but seemed an odd way to get him out of the ring. If it was a work they should have just had Ambrose run down, would have been a big pop for that.

Good go home show.

Cena vs Lesnar is a 100% for Summer Slam. Lesnar to win. Bryan to beat Lesnar on return. Rollins to cash in on Bryan.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I think it's been released that Punk has agreed to work dates he couldn't work under WWE contract following the end of his current deal, I think the move is just to drum up interest for the network

I can't see Bryan beating Lesnar, at least not on his return, Lesnar should be a made man until at least WM31, to beat him before hand would be stupid.

To add to the good Doctor's post, Punk's profile now sits on the Alumni section of WWE.com. Also he was pictured last month on honeymoon with AJ with a spare tyre around his gut.

As for Raw, thought it was pretty forgettable. I could do without seeing Ric Flair on TV for a while.

Punk tweeted thanks to the fans for everything and advised them never to take sh*t from anybody

If they have indeed retired the Big Gold Belt they could have done a bit more than Cena handing it over during his entrance. Should have done it during Flair's segment proper, and made a bigger deal about.

Apparently it was just to honour Flair and wasn't retired. They have thought about it but it's an extra piece of merch they can make money off.

The Punk bit felt to me like a perfect bit of attention seeking. People will be more eager to watch Punk stuff if they think there's still a chance he'll come back, and people won't resent it either. Plus it sends a message to Punk that they can make money out of stuff they got him to do whilst not giving in to his whims.

They were probably worried Flair would keep it and go to TNA claiming to be the real world champion

With what has happened with Russia/Ukraine anyone else fear that Rusev may get Muhammed Hassan'd into obscurity

Dont think it'll change things. They've been careful to never reference the Ukrainian conflict - might even just be a coincidence that that happened as they made him a Russian defector.

Indeed, but they might have a baying crowd who don't want to see a "Real American" lose to a man representing a country at this exact moment

Daily Mail have "wrote" a piece on how they felt the Lana segment was in bad taste to mention "recent events" - could halt some of his progress?
