La Liga thread

Post by kingraf on Wed 20 Aug 2014, 2:03 pm

First topic message reminder :

Well, with the league in Spain restarting soon, thought I'd put this up. Backed Atlético to repeat this year, and watching last nights game, think I could be right. Think Real will find that we've gone and bought more coats of paint on the Bentley, having sold the engine... Again. It's like history really is bound to repeat itself.

Valencia rampant currently leading Eibar 4-0. They have won their last three La liga matches against Sevilla, Barcelona and now Eibar, teams all above them in the league.

Barcelona return to form with four goals from Suarez in an 8-0 away win at Deportiva La Caruna.

Suarez was involved in seven goals last night, he's unreal. Sad

Anyone see Simeone preventing a counter attack? Diego Simeone’s Liga record with Atletico Madrid 208 games 101 clean sheets.

Very surprised English clubs haven't managed to tempt him, I'd have thought he was very suited to Chelsea.

When Jose left, i thought we would go straight after him but im happy enough with Conte i just didn't expect it until there was heavy speculation obviously.

Barcelona have been crowned La Liga champions for the 24th time after a Luis Suarez hat trick saw them to a 3-0 win at Granada. Real Madrid have only won one La Liga title in the last eight years now.

Always sad, second time it has happened to a young Real Madrid footballer as well, Ruben de la Red had to retire in 2011 with a heart condition. He was 25.
