Costa going down easily...
Courtois looks like he slide over the line and out of the box....

£1 Mourinho covers up being dominated by complaining of the campaign against them again and Costa should of had a pen...

meh. Liverpool were very good, Chelsea pretty ordinary. Mikel had a nightmare second half, really missed Fabregas's influence in midfield, didn't have enough influence up front. Ivanovic had a rare poor match. Sterling excellent, Coutinho needs to stop shooting on sight.

Will need to be better next leg to go through...

Should have been a win for Liverpool but for another exceptional keeper denying us. Can't complain about the performance though we were the better team pretty much start to finish. Just wish we could play like that more often!

re the Costa incident, he's quite clearly clipped by Sakho, should have been a free-kick and yellow card IMO. Costa was also elbowed in the face by Skrtel just before Liverpool equalised. But to be fair, Chelsea got away with a couple of 50-50's too (the penalty shout first half, Courtois maybe handling outside his area), so probably evened out.

Thought the ref was a bit poor TBH, but probably didn't influence the result, so no complaints.

If Costa falls on contact he gets the free kick, no idea why he didn't. Or continue and get a shot away. Either option far better than what he actually did!

Every season including last season when he got in team of the year?

Has has his moments this season like every player but he still a very good defender.

Cahill's great when asked to defend deep, but he struggles when asked to come out of that game and doesn't have Terry's nous/experience to get himself out of trouble. Think Zouma will get some more game time, has looked promising so far.

Only donkey around here is Ent. Indeed, he got into the team of the year, been immense with Chelsea & a vital part of Chelsea's supreme defence, especially last year & easily England's best defender. If he's a donkey, what are Smalling, Jones & Evans.

Either is a good enough excuse for Maureen to use really.

Costa with some stamping on Can, Easily avoidable. Followed by some diving...

Stupid challenge from Skrtel. No doubt Costa goes down easily, but that's a penalty. Skrtel gets nowhere near the ball!

Liverpool should be doing better with both those chances. Decent saves from Courtois, but Liverpool should be 1 up.
