Welcome back to another edition of the v2 Wrestling podcast and welcome to all of our listeners on TNAsylum.com and 606v2.com

This week the team is made up of your host Adam, along with regulars Gavin, Chris and Rich who proceed to talk about the goings on in both TNA and WWE.

We kick off by looking back at last weeks Full Metal Mayhem match between the Wolves, Hardys and Dudleys. The conversation centres around whether this type of match is what wrestling should be about in 2014 or whether it’s a relic of the past.

The TNA section then moves on to highlights of the recent Gail Kim interview (click here to listen -
http://v2wrestling.com/5/post/2014/10/v2-wrestling-exclusive-gail-kim-interview.html) and looking at the actions of Bully Ray and his BFG Bullet Club actions – was this disrespectful to TNA and Wrestle 1? Did they know about it? Did they approve it?

We follow on with the question of the week – who should be main eventing? The best wrestlers or the best talkers? We look at examples of both and quickly come to the conclusion that there are very few who are great at both. Who do you think are the best talkers and what do you think is the most important aspect for a wrestler to have. Can stars be made who are poor promoers?

We then move on to WWE a quick recap of the main events on RAW, as we analyse the change of PPV main event and look at some of the other talking points. Is Dean Ambrose that good on the mic? Tune in to find out our thoughts!

Next week the show will have Chris Masters on, so if you have any questions for him, please let us know!

I think the Full Metal Mayhem match was the most natural pay off for the final of the tag team series. Whether or not Team 3D or the Hardys are in their prime or not as the case may be, there are no bigger tag teams in TNA for the Wolves to feud against, especially in trying to establish their legacy in this kind of series. The fact is is that now the Wolves have gone down in wrestling history as having wrestled against the Hardys and Team 3D. Their names are going to be said in the same sentence as the aforementioned teams now; maybe not by WWE fanboys who only follow WWE, but for fans of wrestling in general who follow multiple promotions the Wolves have boosted their stock. They were a great tag team in ROH and were well respected by indie fans but now they`ve wrestled against some of the biggest names in tag team history and are wrestling in front of a much bigger audience worldwide in TNA. Despite TNA having struggled throughout its history to rival WWE commercially, they have a much bigger platform than ROH and are the best place for the Wolves right now. While the Full Metal Mayhem match itself is outdated in one respect, the attitude era is over and can never be reclaimed in the same way again, nevertheless it worked in as far as the Wolves beating those teams at their own game, which was a logical way to finish the series.
