According to PWInsider, TNA sources are telling them that a new TV deal will be announced this week. On top of that, the originally planned "Best of TNA" episodes will no longer be airing. This means that this week's episode of IMPACT Wrestling will be the final episode on Spike.

Earlier this week, Dave Meltzer reported that Destination America were close in negotiations with TNA. On Saturday it was reported that Spike was moving away from the wrestling business.

TNA has a hold on the Manhattan Center for January 6th-8th.

One the one hand it seems like good news...for obvious reasons.

On the other hand, according to the forum posts, any new deal will only be for about half what Spike were giving them...which isn't such good news.

Liked a lot of the ideas that were thrown around for improving the product.
