Boxing Asylum Podcast

Does anyone else tune in for this on a Sunday evening? I had a listen for the first time at the weekend and really enjoyed it but this week has proven fairly exceptional with Tony Bellew taking exception to them having a bit of fun at his expense. So Bellew is having a rant on iFilm London and its all over Twitter etc

Just wondered if anyone else has seen it all and what they think.

I am listening to it now, actually. Seem like a knowledgeable bunch. I listened to the Hearn grilling the other day.

Yet he bangs on about football non-stop. Bellew is basically saying 'give me your money and shut up.'

Yep thats exactly what he is saying he iswilling to accept praise but no criticism of any kind

Bellew is a clown of the highest order, thinks he's johnny big balls when he has failed on the biggest stage twice. The lads from boxing asylum are all top blokes who know the sport as well as most amateur sites out there.

To be honest Hampo...What a great heads up for the Asylum boys....

Bellew should be above all this.

Yeah, as I said they're a great bunch. I've done articles for them in the past and they wanted us to feature on their podcast and vice versa when we ran ours.

Bellew's alright when not in fight mode. He's a fairly complex conflicted character from what I've seen. I get the feeling he will look back at his own behaviour in time and feel a little embarrassed.

He's a knowledgeable guy, I used to chat with him on Eastside and he was very level headed and wrote well.
