A New Year, but it didn't feel like anything was new in WWE.

Another brawl match between Wyatt and Ambrose, just around an ambulance this time. The Usos and Mizdow for the nth time. The Authority back in charge.

I'm still letting the product have a chance at Royal Rumble to point towards what it has in store for Wrestlemania, but some of these Raws are a tough watch.

Low point might have been JBL's commentating on The Ascension. I know they've not stepped up as well as they might have hoped, but even as a heel commentator, JBL no-selling them as not worthy of lacing the boots of The Road Warriors does them absolutely no favours at all.

Thought this was a pretty average edition of Raw. None of the matches stood out, and I was slightly disappointed with the Wyatt/Ambrose match, even though the crowd were hot for it.

I was expected more from Barrett/Ziggler as well, and the third fall seemed to drag despite the efforts of both guys.

I was quite pleased that a few lower card feuds have begun (New Day/Cesaro-Kidd - Paige/Bellas - Fox/Naomi) - I just hope a proper reason is given for Cesaro and Kidd going after the New Day.

I've got a booking idea for the Rumble, which would see Cena pin Rollins to win the title. Post match a furious Lesnar beats the hell out of Cena. Once the officials clear the ring, Rollins' cashes in his contract to win the title.

I don't. It is miles better that Cena v Lesnar part 4. I know it doesn't make much sense with Rollins having the briefcase but I'm now actually looking forward to the match. I wasn't before.

Cena vs Lesnar = No Doubt Lesnar steamrolls Cena and goes on to WM
Cena vs Lesnar vs Rollins = Gives chance to take the belt off Brock without looking weak or keeps Cena from being pinned again in the build up to WM. Unsurprisingly Rollins won't come out of this looking good. Can't see WWE allowing a Rollins/Reigns main event

The best thing WWE did in 2014 was Brock killing Cena. It was like Vince wasnt in the meeting where that was decided and since then has s*** a brick about it

The Night of Champions match ruined Lesnar's image. I dont mind Cena getting a bit more offense in but they focused on the fact Cena had him beat. If Lesnar had beat jumpin John clean again this could be the time to have Rollins screw Cena.

After NoC this match needed another level of intrique.

Aside from that, I felt I was watching an episode of late 90's Nitro. I cant get over how bad it has been recently. The WWE had arguably the worst talent pool ever 20 years ago, and was still a more coheerant product.

They need a major overhaul from top to bottom. Or Vince needs to retire or let Triple H get the final say. They need coheerant long term booking. They need mid card fueds to have meaning. They need credible womens and tag divisions. They need to cut the TV time down.

Wait.. Thats just NXT. Frak it, im watching that again. Its unbelievable that NXT (remember, the developmental territory) is almost perfect and the main product is such garbage.

Completely agree Samo, NXT is most definitely the product on fire at the moment.

Its actually got to the stage where I don't want any stars called up to the main roster because I fear how they will be handled...that's never a good sign.

It's time Vince left it up to Trips,if only for a few months to see how he does,I mean it can't get much worse can it?

As far as I'm aware NXT is Trips' baby,so I tip my hat to him,now if he had could transfer that to the main roster there's the makings for a really enjoyable product.

Oh who am I kidding,Vince is like the Queen,he just won't frak off.

So the guys from the Survivor Series match didn't think to intervene last week and get fired last night? Headscratch Makes them look like right Nobel Prize winners! Why on earth would they not want their good work undone? Ok. So why didn't the guys give Cena a beat down? Not likely the crowd would've booed. It's that type of writing that is really crapping all over the product.

It's good seeing Nattie getting a push at last. Glad Paige has been added to the mix. Wonder where this leaves AJ.

Sandow needs to break out. Yes it's entertaining him and Miz, but this guy could be so much more.

So they are burying Ambrose. After all that momentum and filling in for Reigns and taking that "Brass Ring" he is now being killed. Way to go.

Rollins has obviously just been put in the match to take the pin, and I am very worried the man pinning him will be John Cena.

Everything on paper right now sounds quite good, but yet WWE is really really poor right now.

I've thought for a few months now that Cena was leaving RR as champ and as Crimey says Rollins in the match almost confirms it.

As for the show, complete and utter rubbish, again. Sick of saying it, but I either say it or say nothing. I've have no idea how the main roster can be booked so badly, yet developmental so well. Actually I do, and it centres around a perverted old man with a horrible sense of humour.

odd episode of Raw. Reigns tried something newer in his promo, it was not good. The guys who put their careers on the line for John Cena were repeatedly beaten down yet the man who Never Gives Up chose to Never Show Up to help.

the new triple threat match i am indifferent to, one the one hand it makes it not another Lesnar/Cena match but also opens the door for a Cena win. Cesaro and Kidd look like a very fun team which could be good this year. Booker T was... well, he was Booker T, that comment about "chips and chutney may well have been the most awkward thing to ever happen.
