Exeter Chiefs name a slightly amended side to the one that picked all five points last weekend away on the road to Oyonnax. Richard Barrington comes into the front row and swaps bench duties with Ryan Grant. There is a slight shift in the back row as James Haskell and Yannick Nyanga are reshuffled to the flanks to make way for new signing at number 8, Fritz Lee. Halfbacks and the midfield remain the same to last weeks side, with only change coming the back line is promising young full back Mike Haley takes the spot of Maxime Medard who drops out of the squad after picking up a slight knock last week. His place on the bench is taken by prolific try scorer Tom Varndell.

Rovigo 18 - 35 London Irish

No problems here. Is that the JvN at 12 for Rovigo?

Bucharesti 5 - 48 Bath

No explanation needed.

Brive 15 - 20 Exeter

Tricky enough fixture. Exeter made to fight.

Saracens 23 - 22 Bayonne

Close this. Home side wins this fixture.

London Welsh 40 - 12 Lyon

Bucharest 5-40 Bath
I'm taking Welch out of the Bath side as I signed him so putting Kolisi in but Bath still have too much.

Brive 14-25 Chiefs
Brive will put up a fight but Chiefs' backrow and half backs will see them across the line.

Sarries 25-20 Bayonne
Sarries front row and centre pairing will get them over the line but not an easy game.

Welsh 42-15 Lyon
Simples.

Bucharesti 15 - 30 Bath

It'll be a tough game for the forwards but Bath will get home well in the 2nd.

Brive 18 - 24 Exeter

Brive not so bad and decent home. Good battle for Exeter but they'll get the win.

London Welsh 32 - 18 Lyon

Another good pack battle but Welsh get a good win in the end.

Rovigo 12 - 55 Irish routine better everywhere
Bucharest 15 - 80 Bath does it need comment?
Brive 11-21 Exeter brive a proud outfit and a challenge however Exeter better and brive discipline terrible
Welsh 50-10 Lyon really one sided our teams will win this cup and become better games when they meet. Removing heino qualification has killed this comp

Rovigo 12 - 45 London Irish

There is too much quality from this young and promising side put out by Prop, and Irish will control the game with ease.

Bucharesti Wolves 10 - 53 Bath Rugby

No real comments needed, bit of a no contest this one.

Saracens 24 - 18 Bayonne

Saracens should get the win, but it won't be easy with their rotated and younger side out.

London Welsh 32 - 25 Lyon

Welsh have enough in the pack to control the game, and a strong enough platform to achieve the TBP. However Lyon will keep it tight and force Welsh to keep them going throughout.

Rovigo 9-43 Irish
Irish dominate all over

Brive 14-23 Exeter
At home Brive make it difficult

Sarries 26-21 Bayonne
Sarries have enough to overcome difficult challenge

Welsh 38-18 Lyon
Another game too easy for the English team

Rovigo 5-60 London Irish
Rovigo poor and Irish put out a strong team. Not really a contest.

Bucharesti 3-92 Bath
In real life these teams are struggling with big scores against far worse teams than Bath - massive away win.

Brive 17-28 Exeter Chiefs
Hard trip away, but Chiefs will win as picked a strong team.

Saracens 21-19 Bayonne
Quite close due to youth selection for Sarries in some key positions and Bayonne will bully them, but not best Bayonne team out and home win.

London Welsh 32-12 Lyon
Easy home win.

Rovigo 9-41 London Irish

Rovigo have nothing against a quality Irish team, easy win

Bucharesti 3 - 60 Bath

Bath 23 is on another planet, 60 points is probably a conservative estimate, taken a few off for Welch being on team sheet

Brive 20-27 Exeter

Not a bad matchup, but too much class on show for Exeter for this to be anything other than a comfortable win

Sarries 31-19 Bayonne

Easy win at home against a road French team, still have Deacon on the team sheet though!

Welsh 39-10 Lyon

Welsh team full of a Champions cup quality, and far too much for Lyon at home
