World Cup 2015

Post by KP_fan on Sun Feb 08, 2015 7:12 am

First topic message reminder :

Warm Up game between Ind and Aus ongoing...
it's an official ODI...though after so much cricket why do these sides need a "warm-up"

India's bowling in melt-down and the two most dangerous guys in Aus side Warner and Maxwell get 100s

Looks like Ind will be chasing 375

It's a shame for Ballance all this because he's been thrown in the deep end, given literally no time in the middle beforehand and batting out of position. Theres not many who'd swim in that situation
Except the guy who is swimming at 3.

England 49-1 after ten overs. (Ian Bell on a steady 3 after 24 deliveries!)

He won't be bowling guff for much longer. Tucker's having another look at the pitch. Get him off and on at the other end Angelo.

Bell's just slashing hard at anything wide; it is paying off at the moment, but for how long?

Kamikaze stuff. One extreme to the other.

Erm

Evening / Morning all - joining here slightly late, 61/0 off 8. Much better than I expected. Good start by England. Bell has got the majority of the runs although I've been more impressed by Moeen. Moeen's played Malinga well who has now bowled 4 overs.

Tame. Got tied down a bit there did Moeen. Weird to say when we are 62-0 off 9.

Poor shot from Moeen - a hint of frustration, perchance?
