York
I am taking my wife to York on Friday for drinks and a meal - Any suggestions on where to go or where to avoid?

Re: York
If the weather is half decent the slug and lettuce is alright, overlooks the river so is a nice place to drink and watch the world go by. Some of the pubs up near the cathedral are nice, but most are olde world types so tiny places.
York is generally nice, and pretty compact so you'll have no problem finding places

I've probably shouted about at them for queuing up to get into Betty's Teashop.TRUSSMAN66 wrote:My Wife has relatives in Harrogate.............Been there once or twice...

It's a cuppa and a scone you c*nts, not tickets for the Cup Final, why are you waiting 20 minutes for THAT?
Used to be some decent 2nd hand bookshops in Harrogate but haven't been for ages so have no idea what's there now...I'll assume Betty's f*cking Tea Shop is still there....there's one in York as well if Paul is still interested
