WBC

The WBC has made Kovalev mandatory for Adonis Stevenson's WBC strap, as they have with Golovkin for Cotto's strap. Do we see these fights being made? and do you se other bodies following the WBC's lead and ranking other champions for their championship?

It is now one of the most anticipated fights in boxing.

If it doesn't happen next, something must surely be amiss with Stevenson.

Don't thnk he has faith in his chin personally but he can't go on stealing from the fans any longer.

Its a positive move by the WBC as long as they are willing to back it up with action. The two champions in question clearly have no desire to make the fights happen against their challenger.

Cleverly and Cloud are on a similar level.
Pascal beat Dawson.
Bellew may be younger and bigger than Hopkins, but he's no way as tricky a prospect to box, hence his victory over Cloud.

Really don't see Stevenson's opposition as being superior at all.

Not that it matters, Kovalev v Beterbiev is what I wanna see.

Totally agree, Stevenson has avoided KOvalev like the plague, trying to make as much money as possible. Fair play I guess but his last defense was simply pointless.

Well, Golovkin does fight with a Mexican Style. Took on Rubio in a Mexican American stronghold, and the crowd was chanting for Golovkin. The Mexicans love him. By comparison, Cotto is Puerto Rican. Probably took WBC five seconds to decide on this.

Golovkin actually does sell aswell now any fight with him gets major ratings on the networks.

Do we actually expect cotto to fight any proper lightmiddleweight let alone middleweight? The people hes been rumoured as fighting are Bradley (LWW), Rios (LW), Khan (WW), mayweather (WW). Where are the middles lightmiddles. Last time he fought a proper healthy fighter at 154 he got a schooling off trout who solid but unspetacular.

Cotto is annoying me I really really wanted to see cotto canelo but he was being a diva and is stuck now, hope he fights GGG as it'll be a one sided beatdown
