Goosebumps
Have you ever had that "Hair on your Neck" stand up moment in a film?, whether it be from horror or pride or just plain feel-good factor?
There are many for me, but one stands out and its from "The Italian Job". It gets me every time and it is the moment Mr Bridger (Noel Coward) walks down the iron steps of the prison to the tumultuous cheering of his fellow inmates, chanting "England" taa taa ta ta taa ta ta ta ta, when he receives the news of the successful heist. Goosebumps on me goosebumps!
Whats yours ??
(No, I'm not buying a round)

Braveheart ending.
"In the year of our Lord 1314, an army of Scots-starving and outnumbered-charged the fields at Bannockburn. They fought like warrior poets, they fought like Scotsmen-and won their freedom"
Tears. Every time.

I thought this thread was going to be about the book series by R.L. Stine. Disappointed
On topic, the fight/ chase scenes in the Bourne films usually make my hairs stand on end. The music makes it even more epic.

The Zulu chanting in the film of the same name and the fact that half naked warriors with cow skin shields nearly defeated a modern army twice in a couple of days.

Re: Goosebumps
Zulu is a good shout,
When they resort to their last option and line up in that formation and destroy the Zulu warriors after hours of fighting.
But for me the greatest film moment is the ending of the last of the mohicans when they chase down the mohawks and the old man sees his son getting killed. The music when he chases him down and the silence when he kills the tomahawk leader is jaw dropping.

Kick Ass, when Big Daddy is being burnt alive and Hit Girl is killing them all. (Strange one I know, but the music, the flashing lights and everything create a good effect.)

You've all got it wrong
There can be no beating this one

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die.

Totally agree on this one.
Re: Goosebumps
There's many moments in Remember The Titans and We Are Marshall.
One that always gets me is the fight between Obi Wan and Anakin at the end of Revenge Of The Sith. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSwy412nttI&feature=related Just Awesome.

Re: Goosebumps
There was another one for me, a scene from Quatermass and the Pit, still don't know why it does this, but when Quatermass and his female assistant go to look over the disused, run down hovels with the jittery local Policeman, I get goosebumps, there is no monster or scary moment, just a hanging, apprehensive feeling to the whole scene and it reaches a high point when the copper has to leave the buildings because of his superstitious beliefs.
And one other, "A Warning to the Curious". My advice, don't watch this, its spine tingling to those of a nervous disposition, ie: me!

The D-Day scene in Saving Private Ryan. Also the opening bit in Pixars' Up when it shows him growing up with his wife and dying was gutting, also anytime the dog Doug speaks is top notch. I know it's a kids movie but I got dragged to it with my wee cousin and loved every second

Re: Goosebumps
Pretty much the whole of Apollo 13 gives me goosebumps.
That and Theoden's and Aragorn's pre-battle speeches in Return of the King.
Also, for some reason, the last few minutes of Battle of Britain, where everything's gone quiet and they're wondering why the German's aren't attacking, culminating with Air Marshal Hugh Dowding (head of Fighter Command) leaving his office and going to stand outside, gazing into a clear blue sky.

Also, the end of Schindler's List, from where Oscar is frantically searching for more valuables to pay to rescue more of his employees, to the present-day scenes of the graves in Israel.
Doesn't just give me goosebumps - I always shed a tear or two as well.
