I know this isn't technically Indies but it's worth mentioning the Gabe/Jordan vs Gargano/Ciampa match from this weeks NXT is excellent, Gable's quality to experience level is freakish at a Kurt Angle standard

Just got in from global force in kings lynn, belting show, of that's the standard they are going to set for them selves once they get tv they should do well

Rampage brown bt bram following interferance from marty scurll
Trevor Lee bt Tyler bate in a hard hitting high flying cruiserweight match
Mickie James bt toni storm in one of the best ladies matches I have witnessed this year
Team starr (Jimmy Starr, The Bulk and Kenny Mac) bt Team dark wolf (Matt Newton Walters, Jonathan Windsor and Sid Scala) in trick or treat elimination fsw  guest tag match
Jeff Jarrett bt Doug Williams after interference by Karen Jarrett led to a low blow and the stroke
Magnus retained the gfw title when he beat marty Scurll in the main event, a match which had a ref bump followed by interferance by rampage brown who was chased off by bram

Yes saw the match yesterday. And heard a podcast yesterday with the question, has anyone been better in their first 10 TV matches. I could only think of Angle, being so smooth in the ring so quick.

Though I'm not saying he's anywhere near as smooth and its apples and oranges, but I'd argue Pastor Eavers has his character down within 10 TV tapings.

I wanted somewhere to say just how outstanding that match was, especially for what is was.

Also, Evil Emma deserves more than to be a vehicle to put Asuka over.

Oh man.  What a great accompaniment to Sunday Brunch, Young Bucks vs Richochet / Sydal and RPG Vice vs ReDRagon.

1st match:
Lot of fun, a couple of massive spots, like Richochet's huge leap over the turnbuckle.  That had me on my feet!  Expect ReDRagon to win this.

Found the video now.  This had me up off the couch with a "Holy f***!"

Ibushi out for a while with a herniated disc.

I very much like the replacement in Power Struggle.

Mascara Dorada, Ryusuke Taguchi, Tiger Mask, Jushin Thunder Liger vs Jay White, David Finlay, Sho Tanaka, Yohei Komatsu
Juice Robinson, Captain New Japan, Togi Makabe vs Cody Hall, Tama Tonga, Doc Gallows
Hirooki Goto vs EVIL
reDRagon and timesplitters vs Young Bucks, Kenny Omega and Chase Owens
BOSJ Jag Tournament Final: Ricochet and Matt Sydal vs Roppongi Vice
YOSHI-HASHI and Toru Yano vs AJ Styles and Bad Luck Fale
NEVER title match: Tomoaki Honma vs Tomohiro Ishii
Hiroshi Tanahashi and Katsuyori Shibata vs Kazuchika Okada and Kazushi Sakuraba
IWGP IC title match: Karl Anderson vs Shinsuke Nakamura

Just treated myself to WXWs 16 Carat Gold Tournament, 7 1/2 hours of wrestling over 3 nights for 20 quid, got it with English commentary as well, must say my first impression is the crowd will take some getting used to, unlike Japanese and Mexican crowds the German crowd chant in a very similar way to UK/US crowds but obviously I can't understand what they are saying

Just watched Mystery Vortex III. Speedball Mike Bailey vs Roderick Strong was just my thing. And then there's Zack Sabre Jr and Chris Hero working each other over. And I know it was such a set-up, but even I popped when the Young Bucks turned up. A great show, strong candidate for Show of the Year IMO.

Yeah, I heard about this yesterday. It was kind of an interesting one because of the high booking fee Rey has for indies. But then I heard 5 Star also have a PS4 wrestling game coming out and Rey is headlining that. Which is interesting again, because that seems to indicate that Rey won't be going back to WWE. Given the hoohaa over 1 Kevin Owens action figure, I can't see Rey in a video game being received well. I am also presuming that this may be an indication that Rey won't be working LU because there is a LU filming the day after this tour. Although, that can't be conclusive as it would be easy for Rey to miss one filming.

Just looking at the cards, Sydal v Strong, Omega v Bailey, Ricochet v Scurll, Omega v Ospreay, Wolves vs The UF Machines, Guerilla Warfare, it's wrestling pornography!

Looks like ZSJ's shot against Strong won't be until their show on Jan 2nd though, I see they have Tozawa back for that as well, I hope he gets a match v Bailey, that could be incredible!!

Fees for aj will be shared with rev pro who will be using him the Saturday and probably sunday, Rey could end up there too so prices will soon come down for them

I want to see every one of those matches.

I started a thread on "2015" PWG shows earlier, i.e. Black Cole Sun onwards. Then, realised that even though there are only 4 or 5 shows, I'm still not going to be able to watch them all before the end of the year. I might revive it again though, as I think 2015 has been a challenging year for PWG with wrestlers entering exclusive contracts with ROH and NXT, but has also been one that has delivered some great fun, terrific spots and excellent matches.

I can't stand NAK fans, one thing ICW does exceptionally well is have babyfaces you really want to get behind, instead not only do people choose to cheer this faction who, all be it very talented, are not particularly cool or badass, they also insist on throwing up their ridiculous sign which speaking as someone with a bad back I'm sick fed up of having to stand on my tip toes trying to see around!!!

We are Legion.

What a night. The crowd were electric. Thank you Dallas.

The matches we decent enough and they all had plenty of talking points. Genuinely thought Wee Man got his mouth smashed into bits by that Super Kick in the opener.

The cage match was a highlight. Some brutal spots and a great ending. That double table bump was sick. Joe Coffrey vs Rhyno was alot of fun aswell. The main event was great. Both guys left it all out there.

Went along to one of the after parties at the Cathouse rock club and met a load of the guys and a few I didnt expect to.

- Dallas
- All of Legion
- Coffrey
- Kay Lee Rae
- Sha Samuels
- Davey and Stevey Boy
- Chris Renfrew
- Rockstar Spud (who photo bombed my pal getting a photo with Sha)
- Jeremy Borash
- Champagne Simon
- and Jimmy Frak Havoc.

An incredible night that I wont soon forget. If ICW come near you on their 'That mad wresltin' hing aff the telly' tour, go.

I was ready to have the arse bored off me in this match, Timothy Thatcher and the grapple heavy style can be really hit and (more often) miss for me but this was an all out war! The attrition of this match really drew me in with Thatcher displaying more fire (not to mention strikes) than I've even seen from him before, throw in a couple of great false finishes and you have a top quality match ****
Okay, when I read this, I thought it was one of those things you do, like when you try to convince us that Grado or Spud are talents.  I was ready to completely write off any ideas that a Timothy Thatcher match could be all that good.  You know what?  I rate this above 4*, I loved it.  And man has Chris Hero worked some amazing PWG matches this year.

Aero Star & Fenix vs Drago & Pentagon Jr

And now for something completely different! One advantage I'm already seeing over night 1 is the line up of the matches have been more varied stylistically, I highly doubt these 4 are going to have the grapple strike war of Thatcher/Hero or whatever the Frak Evans/Angelico was!

What did follow was pure unadulterated Prometheus wet dream madness!! I have absolutely no idea how to grade this match because as a wrestling match it was terrible their was no structure, who the legal man was made no sense and kayfabe was shattered during a couple of spots BUT this was a spectacle unlike anything I may have ever seen in a wrestling ring, these 4 guys did stuff I had ever seen before, and unlike the pre intermission tag from night 1 the crowd was on fire for it, I started this match laying back on my bed and finished it on all fours buzzing with excitement

A * match and a ****** spectacle
What do you say about this match?  I think two things stand out.  Firstly it is outside the BOLA series and as an exhibition match I'm happy for anything goes.  And secondly, how much total confidence does Fenix have in Pentagon Jr as a base?  Those two jumps to the outside were massive and then some.  I think the crowd put it best.  "That was awesome!"  I know he's about 40, but Drago is fast as hell and the fact that he looked slow in this match shows you the level they were working at.

As New Japan contracts are year-to-year I thought this was coming up, just didn't realise it was yet. If I were WWE I'd throw money at him. But they apparently low-balled last time they went for him and with his work in New Japan and their affiliates / other appearances he's probably on a really good pay now.

He should have kept the pills out of reach on top of the wardrobe Smile

Laugh they are awesome goddammit!!!!! Spud>Styles Laugh Laugh
