RIP Sir Nicholas Winton

Sir Nicholas Winton passed away today aged 106. He rescued over 660 children from the Nazi regime in World war 2, but his exploits only came to light when his wife found a notebook about his dealings in 1988.
The words legend, and hero get used too frequently nowadays in my opinion. They don't seem sufficient to describe Sir Nicholas.

The fact that he hid his exploits makes me respect the man even more.
106 is a good innings as they say. My grand aunt recently passed away at 104 last week.
