Rollins doing double duty at Night of Champions.

It would cement him if he were to retain both titles but I'm not sure he will.

Thats no way to talk about Cena.

Seriously though, Im not against him vs Sting. We always clamour for something new and its a decent way to use a PPV match without giving us something awesome away too soon or something we've seen before.

I dont like him vs Cena in the same night though. He's going to lose one of the belts, and it wont be the WWE title to Sting, but I dont want him to lose a match earlier in the night then go into a WWE title match. I really want to see him win both matches clean, but they need to get the US title off of him before Hell in a Cell because thats when he'll be against HHH.

Yeah, I actually think this is a really good use of Sting. He has a certain gravitas, yet he isnt good enough for my money to be taking a title shot at one of the big four. And to do so on a night where Rollins works double duty is very good. I think the double duty thing is wonderful booking too; and it shows a hell of a lot of faith in Seth Rollins who is obviously very important to them. I remember Dolph working double duty on a PPV in the past few years, but nothing like this magnitude. Obviously there was Bryan at WM30, but that was a bit of needs must plus storyline. This is designed because Rollins is so damn good.

It does tie in very well with a Sheamus cash-in, whether its to stop Sting being champion or Stephanie and HHH tiring of Rollins.

A little unsure as to putting the Dudleyz in against New Day first. If they want to put every team through tables then put them against other teams for a few weeks before their inevitable title match.

Sting was probably meant to be buttering up HHH as part of some mind games with Rollins, but it just sounded ridiculous. I would wonder whether he was hamming it up on purpose to make a little bit of a point about losing at Mania.

Utterly depressed that Nikki will be longest running divas champ. If anything epitomises the paucity of skill and/or focus on women's wrestling before the "divas revolution" then it is this record.

Does anyone think Sheamus could cash in the MitB and win but maybe have some confusion over what title he's actually won?

I think it'd fit nicely into Rollins sneaky/slimey character if he somehow lost but managed to escape as the World Champion, maybe make the ref/ring annoucer the scapegoat for it

It's certainly possible and definitely something I could see WWE doing, but would be a bit frustrating considering the MitB is said to be for the world titles.

The other way of looking at it is if Seth beat both Cena and Sting clean(ish) and then got screwed via MiTB then it could garner him a lot of sympathy for a face turn. You could have that he legitimately beat two greats of two eras on the same night etc... Cena and Sting could offer him big legitimising promos on Raw and you could build up a storyline to culminate in him facing Team HHH at Survivor Series and then HHH himself at WM.

I would then look to have him being forced into a cage match against the entire Wyatt Family with the US title on the line on Raw that he bravely takes on before being destroyed, taking him out of action past HIAC.

At HIAC HHH/Sheamus celebrate together (some nice promos of Sheamus spotting HHH in the weight room wouldn't go amiss) and then Rollins music hits and he runs to the ring and goes after HHH. Survivor Series match allows him to mea culpa make up with his 'brothers' and enlist Cena vs. Team HHH. Filler match in December before RR, Seth gets screwed by HHH and the match is set for Mania.

ALTERNATIVELY... Sheamus wins the title through MITB, defends until December, then gifts the title to a smug HHH who gets additional heat through not winning it at all, Sheamus intent on entering RR to stop Seth, Seth wins at RR Austin style to kick HHH's ass at Mania.
