Long promo to open - Check
Matches with spoilt endings to "build" to PPV pay-off - Check
Rollins losing - Check

Is it any wonder that the ratings for Raw are in steady decline? Even that 1 good US Title defence each week has been taken from us now.

The segment with Seth Rollins, The New Day, Edge and Christian, and The Dudleyz was the best part of Raw for me. New Day kill it every time.

That was tough going. Only champion looking strong is Ryback, characters are a mess, Orton vs Sheamus 18, The crowd were dogshit (but you cant blame them).

Not a whole lot of positives to take away from this weeks show. Poor effort.

Was a poor Raw. The buffer Raw, as is always scheduled. Did get a couple developments in the title situation with Divas and Tags. And Owens made it clear he was after Ryback, which he did on Smackdown but people dont take any notice of Smackdown.

I like the idea on which attacking Orton was based around. However, it now would only make sense for Ambrose and Reigns to recruit Orton, because hes not gonna run away from that.

Not sure the characters are a mess though. Consistent character work on the whole tag division, the IC picture, Rollins, Juan Cheena, hell everyone. Rollins' roll up loss would have worked for me if they had managed to make it even slightly smooth. And he didnt take the loss in the main event.

The main storyline problem I have is that it looks like Cesaro is getting caught up with the s*** around Show and Miz. No one is gaining anything from a feud with Big Show unless they are the one to retire him.

Big E eating the kazoo, that boy is amazing

I'm pretty sure Christian was announced as officially retired last time he appeared on Raw, it was very low key but I don't think he has any intentions of coming back:(

Remember on SmackDown where Stardust announced that The Ascension were joining forces with him to form the Cosmic Wasteland?

You wouldnt know it from watching RAW. And it wasnt just a one off because it was followed up on SmackDown.

Whats the point?

Cheers.

Just saw that segment with them and Rollins and the new day.

Two of my all time favourite characters in wwe/f of all time.

Don't really watch wwe anymore, but the characters on it now, for me are not as good as days gone by.

I don't think there's any problems in having SmackDown! only stories however I do think its a tad foolish to completely ignore something that happens on SD! when they're on RAW, they don't need to have storyline progression on RAW but I genuinely feel you need to have some form of continuity.

Thats my biggest gripe. A 15 second video is all it would have taken. But if they're afraid of building up The Ascension only to see them squashed by Reigns and Ambrose - dont put them in that spot! Use two random jobbers like they used to! Its one of the problems thats an easy fix that WWE seemingly refuse to fix that brings my urine to a boil.
