Tonight's WWE RAW kicks off from Denver with Michael Cole, JBL and Byron Saxton. We go right to the ring as Roman Reigns makes his way through the crowd to a pop.

Rollins' music hits and out he comes to the stage. Rollins gives props to Reigns, as did Reigns in his promo, but taunts him for the match at WrestleMania 31. So he's ADR's first defence then. At least WWE aren't going to just ignore the previous Swagger/Colter link.

I enjoyed The New Day again, and the Stardust Section sign was great.

This should produce a 10-12 minute match where two guys seeking to re-establish themselves on the WWE roster give it all, because they can both deliver. But, I think both will plod through a house show 2.5* match and we'll see the US title firmly re-established in the WWE mid-card.

I thought that was Bray Wyatt's best Live promo, there was an actual beginning, middle and end to his point and he delivered it brilliantly, sometimes it gets a bit repetitive and he just speaks for the sake of speaking but last night he nailed it and got his point across.

It's a good use of Jack Swagger to put Del Rio over in his first real feud, regardless whether people think this could be a good match or not they can easily sell it as a big deal as this was a WrestleMania World Title match not too long ago, add in the Coulter factor and it has potential to be at least reasonable.

It was good to see the Uso's back, they're the best Tag Team I've seen come through in WWE in years, the fact that they are a genuine heart and soul team is the key here for me, they seem to really want to be the best Team, not interested in just using it as a stepping stone to a singles career.

I was delighted to see the Cesaro Section, finally looks like the E are going to do something with him again although part of me worries that they're just doing it to make him feel important going into Survivor Series then drop him again but any push at the moment has to be a good thing, was surprised he didn't feature in Reigns team.

Survivor Series is synonymous with screw jobs though and I can't help but feel this year will see Dean Ambrose turn on Reigns, while we all know they're "brothers" the E have been heavily over doing it recently, they're making it obvious Reigns trusts Ambrose, I think Survivor Series will be the night it happens plus it keeps the Title on Rollins, at this stage I think they'll be thinking about Rollins surpassing Punk's modern day record.

Kevin Owens just keeps getting better, I love him, i love his look, his promo, his in ring persona, his moveset, he's got the lot, I see a lot of similarities with Vader with how intense and real he looks in the ring.

Just because it was at Mania, doesn't mean it wasn't an 11 minute 2.5 star match. I'd love to see them motivated to give more, but really don't expect they will.

Thats not the point though Prom. It was a World Title match and feud at Mania. That is storyline strong. And you're not getting a really good match without a storyline. It makes a lot of sense and was nice of WWE to remember (damned with faint praise really).

Good Raw. Usos back is refreshing. They are probably the team that has produced the best tag matches in WWE for the past few years.

Biggest surprise was the Lucha Dragons going over Barrett and Sheamus. Could they understand how to push Kalisto? Is this a sign of how desperate they are to hit the hispanic market?

New Day and Owens the highlights, as ever.

And now we are at a lesser PPV, for a lesser title, on a rematch that no one wanted because their previous meeting was so meh, with 2 guys who are less relevant than they were 2 and a half years ago. You can see it's not a story that is going to captivate me when I'm left feeling a long way from the Cesaro, Owens, Neville, Zayn etc US title matches.

You've completely missed the point, whether their previous matches or future matches are good or not is kinda irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, the grand scheme being the actual storyline, a feud with Jack Swagger wont define how Del Rio's time in WWE will go all it does is ease him back in with a feud against someone the E can build and sell as a big deal as it was a WrestleMania World.Title match not in the too distant past.

I agree it was the best promo Wyatt has ever done.

The 5 on 5 Match was decent, think Ambrose will screw Reigns and we will see a Shield triple threat match at TLC (Where they had there first match at TLC 2012)

Happy to see Swagger back on screen, him vs Del Rio makes a lot of sense. I hope this gets swagger back on screen in the long run as well.

Cessaro is just awesome. Push please.

That's two good Raws in a row, a lack of Authority has definitely helped and having build up throughout the show towards something has also helped, last week it was the qualifiers, this week it was Rollins asking people to be in his team.

Jack Swagger makes sense for Del Rio's first opponent, asking Zeb to be racist again as the face motivation does seem incredibly strange though.

I never looked at it like that Laugh

I think this might be where we differ. I was on the verge of tiring of those challenges, and they can't carry on long; whereas I'd rather have a story driven reign for Del Rio. As a first defence that isnt a rematch I think you have to work very hard to make people interested, need to pick someone he can beat that won't be damaging. Its a good pick and the most logical. Simple things need to be done.

Del Rio (or El Patron) got interesting in AAA / LU because he ripped on WWE and Vince. He was suddenly the Hispanic guy who stood up against the man. That got him over, hugely. And his matches had fire back in them.

Point being, I think what worked there was a character close to life. It was easy for ADR to portray.

If I'd have gone in a direction here, I'd have gone with close to life again. ADR who is sucking up to WWE to get a title, who is willing to sell his countryman out to get a big pay day. But that would be a heal and WWE wants a face ADR.

I'll see where this goes, but on the basis that he was stale and not over before he left and they've plopped him right back with characters that feel WWE 2 years ago, I'm so not excited by this.

I don't think he's face right now. Swagger was the good guy, very notably, and I don't think they want standard faces like Del Rio to go over Cena.

I only think he would stay over in AAA/LU because he's Mexican. He'd have lost some of that fire and lustre anyway, but he isn't a supreme talent. I don't like him and was happy he left. I'm annoyed he's back too.
