Now that Europen rugby is over, time for the main event...
Now european rugby has been demoted to a development tournament, it's back to the main events, the league finals.
Once the starters that are the premiership and Pro 12 finals conclude in 2 weeks the worlds view will be on the main course, the record smashing, first time Nou camp hosting, Friday night game, where the envy of club rugby worldwide will watch 2 French teams chocced with home grown talent.
Wembley of course were unlucky not to be selected to host the jewel in the crown of world club rugby, but i'm sure it will bounce back.
Ugh...
Club rugby has lost so much romance, lets all take a moment and mourn the old HC, what a great tournament it was!
As much as this will infuriate some club die hards, it's such a shame that the Euro final has become such low value in the club calendar. T14 rugby is truly depressing to watch, and the final felt like a T14 match, Super rugby humiliates these types of games.
So not to show I'm all doom and gloom, i've watched plenty of club rugby this year and some of the best has come from the Aviva prem, Wasps and Exeter are a delight to watch on the most part, the quality of the Pro 12 seems to be dropping, T14 imports aren't creating a spectacle I want to watch, like at all, and I'd probably lump the king stranglers Saracens who play a non rugby brand.
Congrats to Sarries, thoroughly deserved, I just feel short changed for the second year in a row (Will ITaly ever hold a european tourny?)

I'm disappointed. I just assumed that this thread was about my birthday.

But I did con my old man to buy us tix for the England-Wales match only because it is my birthday and I enjoy separating him from his money.
