You'd be better off replacing Griezmann with Bale and then having a big chunk of cash to make your midfield stronger.

With £100m or so you could probably get Bale and Busquets/Rakitic/Kroos

If a player has a big summer move, does his TM value usually reflect that pretty soon afterwards?

I'm thinking of Bailly here, his current TM is £6m, but if he moves for £24m or whatever is being said, can I expect a jump there?

They do usually get a bump soon after but there's no cast iron rule. Sometimes individuals change outside of a league increase, sometimes they wait until they go through that league again.

It's a good 2 months till the season starts, By then the league will have probably rebooted anyway. He'll get a good price increase though hopefully soon from his move.
