Carmella is on the wrong show unless going to trade but seems unlikely.

Cesaro to get the full Sandow treatment before inevitably returning to the Indies as a god.

I'd love a Cesaro vs. Rollins feud for the big gold belt, but it's not too likely ha ha.

Bliss is ready tbh, Eva will never be ready and Nia i dont really want but she can do one sort of match ok. I dont want Asuka brought in until there is a clear path straight to the title scene for her

I dont know why they split the womens division. Just put cruisers on Smackdown and Women on Raw ffs. We arent getting the Four Horsewomen Fatal Fourway by the looks of it Sad

Bayley is being fecking brought up so she counts amongst the women. If not i will have to go the Connecticut and riot

The NXT could have been better if A. They didnt announce before hand that they would take 6 from there - how big would Finn Balors announcement have been then? Instead of the foregone conclusion it was. Or B. Have Regal come out on RAW and tell them they cant pick anyone who has a match at Takeover.

Sorted.

I think just saying NXT being open to the draft would have done that, apparently Bayleys name and one other was down but changed in the run up and having said 6 they drafted Carmella and Mojo who I wouldn't mind seeing with Ryder and beefing up the tag team division and a potential heel turn down the line for Mojo

Reports that Rhyno and Curt Hawkins will return to WWE and are expected, at this moment in time, to join the SD! roster.

Could be that these rosters are just considered part of the divvying up, and now they will be able to add to them. The rumours of all the returns and such do fit with this. In kayfabe you have it as power brokers doing deals to up their brands, but actually its about adding numbers and talent.

Curt Hawkins though? He's not really worth much. When you're the Marty Jannetty to Zack Ryder's Shawn Michaels you know you've had a rubbish career.

Seen guys elsewhere moaning about Shinsuke not coming up. Thought this had been accepted already, it will be him vs Joe for a little while at least down in NXT. I never really expected them to gut NXT of its champions and title scene guys.

Though if Bayley comes up the womens scene is bare now other than Asuka

Yup that was my problem with it, we are supposed to believe the Draft is a shoot, if it is then only Bàlor & American Alpha would have been drafted from NXT...Bobby Roode's debut on NXT hasn't even aired yet on the Network but he's be a first pick, same With Samoa Joe  and Nakamura, add them with Bayley and you'd have my 6 NXT picks...while that would decimate NXT that is basically what it's there for and it'd have given the draft some major credibility IMO.

The only positive of the womens division being gutted is it could fast track Nikki Storm to the roster.

Fair enough, it would have been better to involve Regal in the draft, saying something along the lines of he is keeping certain people regardless

Agreed Che. Even if he says he reached and agreement with Vince that certain talent are unavailable, it would be something.

If that's true, they should have signed them up earlier and had them be surprise picks in the draft. Would have made it a bit more interesting.

Yip painted themselves into a hole with the 6 draftees from NXT announcement and now the NXT womens division is short on talent, outside of Bayley and Asuka they have no one with much experience

That's what NXT is there for though, its there to prepare talent for their main rosters, if NXT gets shafted then that unfortunately is a necessary problem they'll have to deal with.

And they've made a few signings for the women's aspect recently. I always think that NXT being gutted is a positive, it means WWE goes out and signs more exciting talent for NXT.

Or... do you think it could be a work and a number of guys such as Cesaro "refuse" to compete on Steph's brand and engineer moves to Smackdown? Could explain keeping SD somewhat lacklustre on the surface onto to see people joining of their own free will, or being "forced" to stay and needing to win their freedom?

Being that Shane is all about the 'New Era' it does seem very odd he then goes to pick Cena and Orton whilst Steph gets Finn Balor and Roman Reigns on the same picks.

I think they should have broken up the draft a bit. They should have had one or two rounds of male superstars, a round of female superstars, an NXT draft where they all call up people from NXT and done the rest on a random draw with the ability to trade. Watched the draft (first show I've watched in a while) and it wasn't good TV and as others pointed out it didn't make much sense.

He did quit to become a firefighter but still remains a guest trainer at the Performance Centre which is why he appears on NXT once in a blue moon.

Read an interesting piece on Cody Rhodes... Does anybody think it's just a coincidence that his first show post WWE happens to be for EVOLVE, the very promotion that's turning into a feeder promotion so WWE can have a look at talent? Does anybody else think it's a coincidence that he's been booked for all future EVOLVE shows in the near future? Apparently, WWE are learning from a failed experiment with Curt Hawkins where Cody Rhodes is essentially booked by WWE to go out and make a name for himself amongst the Independent circles. He's got two matches against Kurt Angle and appearances in PWG & ROH this year alone so come 2017, is stock could become high again and could very well return to WWE within the near future.

Does show how short sighted letting him and others go was, especially when the spilt was a possibility as the time
