It was a definite case of the haves and have nots after all was said and done at the Omega European Masters.  Alex Noren won in a playoff and nine Fantasy Leaguers had him in their selections. Six Fantasy Leaguers had four picks score points, four of those had Noren and it showed in their points haul.  Eyetoldyouso had four picks including one of the low round scorers but it wasn't enough to close the gap on I'm Never Wrong who also had four scorers.  Kwinigolfer and SirBenson also had four picks score and both pulled in a significant amount of points while Davie and Owen10ozzy didn't have enough quality to remain as challengers.  TheCleaver had three of his four remaining picks score and he accumulated the joint highest finish points from those three.  Other Fantasy Leaguers with three scoring picks included McLaren, Raycastleunited, and SetupDetermines; it was easy to see who had Noren out of those three.  AlciG, BlueCoverman, GolferMartin, LadyPutt, Pedro, Sand, and Super_Realist  all had two picks score; GolferMartin and Super's score was bolstered by Noren.

The low round of the day was 63 and Oliver Fisher and Lee Westwood, both picks, matched each other.   SirBenson had both of them while Davie, Eyetoldyouso, Sand, and SetupDetermines had Westwood; Super_Realist also had Fisher.

Danny Willett headlines the Omega European Masters at Crans-Sur-Sierre as top ranked player and defending champion.  

There are three Categories where you will need pick three players, plus reserve, from each one.  There are bonus points available if you get all of your picks through in any category.  Get all 9 picks through and you get an even bigger bonus.  It's all way down at the bottom in the scoring section if you are interested.

This is a full field with cut event, cut points will be available; see above.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 9 players as follows:

Pick 3 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 9 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

Everyone, except AlciG, scored points. Two late pickers are off to a flyer along with lucky numbers LadyPutt. All three had one of the low round scorers and a Top 5 Low round scorer.

It wasn't all rainbows and unicorns for the late pickers as Kristoffer Broberg withdrew mid round. This also hit Kwini and will make it harder for AlciG to score.

Four players shot 64 to tie for the first round lead. Two of the four, Gregory Havret and Daniel Brooks, were picks. Havret was more popular probably because he had a late tee time and could be picked. Seven Fantasy Leaguers picked either Havret or Brooks. Two of those doubled up with another pick in the Top Five Low Round scores. LadyPutt and Sand are joined at the top of the leaderboard by Owen10ozzy who had three Top Five scorers. Davie and McLaren have two Top Five scorers in their selections so they join Eyetoldyouso, GolferMartin, I'm Never Wrong, SirBenson, and Super_Realist in a tie for fourth. BlueCoverman, Kwinigolfer, Pedro, Raycastleunited, SetupDetermines, and TheCleaver all had one Top Five scorer.

Kristoffer Broberg withdrew hitting Eyetoldyouso, Kwinigolfer, SirBenson, and the unlucky AlciG who was the only one not to score in round one.
Paul Peterson and Mike Lorenzo-Vera were the other two players to shoot 64 and scores of 65 rounded out the Top Five Low Round scores.

If four players tied for the low round yesterday then five had to do it today and go one better to boot.  This time three of them were picks; Alex Noren was by far the more popular, Ross Fisher, and Renato Paratore were the other two.  It would almost be quicker to list who didn't have one of the three but Raycastleunited really deserves a special mention for having two of them.

It was a case of so near yet so far away for many Fantasy Leaguers as eight had eight picks through to the weekend; Davie and Sand came the closest when Andy Sullivan couldn't make up enough ground and missed out by one shot.  GolferMartin, I'm Never Wrong, Kwinigolfer, McLaren, Owen10ozzy, and Pedro were the others to have eight picks left.  AlciG, Eyetoldyouso, LadyPutt, Raycastleunited, SetupDetermines, and Super_Realist all have seven picks left; AlciG and Eyetoldyouso earned two cut bonuses.  BlueCoverman and SirBenson both have six picks left and both earned a bonus.  TheCleaver has just the four.

Romain Langasque and Nathan Holman were the other two players to shoot 63.

Fantasy League pick David Drysdale led the way in the third round shooting 64. He was in the selections of AlciG, Davie, Eyetoldyouso, I'm Never Wrong, and Pedro. Pedro stopped scoring points after that but AlciG and Davie had another pick who shot 67 or lower. Eyetoldyouso and I'm Never Wrong went crazy; Eye had three other scoring picks while INW had four more; they're comfortably ahead of the field. Kwinigolfer had three scoring picks in the Top 10 Low Round scores while GolferMartin, Raycastleunited, SetupDetermines, SirBenson, and Super_Realist had two Top 10 scoring picks. BlueCoverman, LadyPutt, McLaren, Owen10ozzy, Sand, and TheCleaver each had one Top 10 scoring pick.

It was a definite case of the haves and have nots after all was said and done at the Omega European Masters.  Alex Noren won in a playoff and nine Fantasy Leaguers had him in their selections. Six Fantasy Leaguers had four picks score points, four of those had Noren and it showed in their points haul.  Eyetoldyouso had four picks including one of the low round scorers but it wasn't enough to close the gap on I'm Never Wrong who also had four scorers.  Kwinigolfer and SirBenson also had four picks score and both pulled in a significant amount of points while Davie and Owen10ozzy didn't have enough quality to remain as challengers.  TheCleaver had three of his four remaining picks score and he accumulated the joint highest finish points from those three.  Other Fantasy Leaguers with three scoring picks included McLaren, Raycastleunited, and SetupDetermines; it was easy to see who had Noren out of those three.  AlciG, BlueCoverman, GolferMartin, LadyPutt, Pedro, Sand, and Super_Realist  all had two picks score; GolferMartin and Super's score was bolstered by Noren.

The low round of the day was 63 and Oliver Fisher and Lee Westwood, both picks, matched each other.   SirBenson had both of them while Davie, Eyetoldyouso, Sand, and SetupDetermines had Westwood; Super_Realist also had Fisher.
