Tonight's WWE SmackDown opens with a video hyping tonight's matches.

- We're live from Birmingham, Alabama as SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan is in the ring. Fans chant "yes" while Mauro Ranallo welcomes us. He's joined by David Otunga and JBL.

Bryan is in the ring with a contract signing setup. He hypes the SmackDown Women's Title match at No Mercy and says tonight we will have the first-ever SmackDown Women's Title contract signing. He introduces Becky Lynch first and out comes the Women's Champion to a pop. Bryan reminds Becky that we're keeping things civil tonight and she agrees. Bryan introduces #1 contender Alexa Bliss next.

And Smackdown wins again this week.

Asides from Jericho and the Crusierweights, Raw was terrible.

In interesting statistic news it's the 1st time in 7 years Cena has been beaten clean on Raw or SD.

Only gripe I have is booking a WWE title match for next week. Theres no way AJ is dropping the title so its just going to be a waste.

Other than that it was a bloody good show. Really enjoying the Usos as heels and AA made them look a million bucks.

Miz and Ziggler had another good match this week. Surely the blow off will be at No Mercy in some kind of gimmick match.

Really good show. Agree - another Smackdown win. Very good throughout.

Don't know if it's reality or not - but it felt like there were more matches on Smackdown than Raw despite the 1 hour deficit.

AJ Styles is awesome. Really feel like he's making the most of the stage we never thought we would see him on.

I actually enjoy watching the Usos for the first time in their career.

My only gripe is the routine kicking out of finishers. Should happen once in a blue moon on a PPV, never mind every other match on a mid-cycle TV show.

If I could change it then I would have had AJ interfere and cause a double DQ, but if one of them had to win clean it had to be Ambrose. Cena losing doesnt harm him in anyway but if Ambrose had lost people would already be writing him off not only for the PPV but for his title match next week. Need to keep him looking strong for whatever he moves onto next.

I think it harms what beating Cena means. So I'd have had him win, fuels the feud better too.

Cena is the last man in WWE that it really matters to beat

Apart from The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Triple H and Randy Orton, I can't argue with that....
