Any interest in the Rousey comeback? It seems to have car crash written all over it. My first love has been boxing, you don't take 400 days off and fight the champ in that sport. So I think a loss to nunes for rousey could do her a diservice. Ring rust alone would be bad enough, but she's got a whole other level of pressure to deal with.
Cruz v garbrant certainly has appeal, the buildup to that fight tupped over into WWE. Hard to see past cruz. But then it's hard to judge how good garbrandt is, as his opponents have been sub par and he knocks everyone out.

I honestly hope that Rousey gets smashed. Can't stand her attitude and I can't stand the way that Dana lives up her @ss.
Would love for Cruz to keep the belt too. I love his style of fighting but Garbrandt is so physically gifted. Should be an interesting fight!

A rousey armbar is possible of course, but a nunes beat down is also more than probable. I appreciate what rousey has done for the woman's side of the sport, she made it an actual profession, woman tennis is the only other sport that springs to mind as being on a similar level to the male version. But yeah she's far from humble, Dana has long said that all rules apply to all ufc fighters, but she's makes a mockery of that, he is only too happy to bend over forwards in front of her for her every whim.

Re: Ufc 207
I would like to see Rousey lose to.
As Pr4wn says, her attitude is poor.
I'm no fan of Cruz, and would like to see him get ko'd.
CG could be the man to do that.
Will be an interesting fight.
Would also like to see TJ get the win.

I'm not a fan of Rousey at all. That Holm humbling was beautiful to watch.
That said I think she'll nick this. Should be interesting.

Disappointed in hendricks too. Bought into him (beca use I'm a fan) training like an athelete. He didn't even make it to the starting line (again). I still hope (foolishly) that he puts on a performance against magny.

Well rousey got steamrolled. Not unexpected. I don't take much satisfaction from it, I'm pretty ambivalent to it. He'll of a performance from garbrandt. Sets him and TJ up nicely, there is a bit of needle in that fight too. TJ didn't seem to leave alphamale on the best of terms. TJ will try and drive that fight to the mat. But it seems the sky's the limit with garbrandt.
Hendricks may retire, not much point in him fighting at 185.

Glad Cruz lost. Seemed like a sore loser to me. Probably hate that he lost to a Alpha Male member.
TJ v Cody would be a good fight. Would like to see that.

Was a pretty poor night of fights, to be honest. A few snoozers early on, I hated Cody and all his taunting. No place in MMA for that, in my opinion.

The Rousey era is well and truly in the archives now.
Rousey is the same as any undefeated fighter in the public eye that loses i.e. they get blasted for not being good to start with and over hyped etc.
In truth she was in between, she is an elite grappler but only ever average at best in striking. Problem is the women's divisions are very weak so she looked great against lesser opponents and her camp is essentially a boxing gym and she believed she would beat anyone and played to other's strengths.
She can't bounce back because she took defeat so badly last time (went AWOL for a year) and came back bitter. She agreed to come back and lost even worse! No way can i see her coming back, she's made huge money so financially set so i don't feel too bad for her.
As for Cruz vs Garbrandt - i was surprised at how well Cody performed and handles Cruz easily in a good fight. Loads of match ups in that division with Dillashaw and Cruz rematch.
Dillashaw handles Linekar with relatve ease.
The other notable fight was Hendricks losing to Magny. Hendricks appears completely finished at the top level and again missed weight.

Dillashaw will fight Cody for the title next, no doubt.
Problem is, I don't know who I hate more.
