Anyone else joined the latest fad?

Well to be honest, I have and I feckin love it!

Im a huge fan of circuits etc, but I honestly get a harder workout in an hour on the prowler than I do with circuits.

Only a real top Thai boxing session can match it. Its such high intensity, and takes me back to my rugby days.

Been doing it twice a week for about 4 months now and my fitness and strength endurance is through the roof. I've noticed my boxing is WAY better - I can punch at my hardest for longer, and I know for a fact its down to the sled!

Prowlers and sleds are fantastic tools, as are parachutes for speed sessions. I sadly don't have access to them at the moment as I haven't had time to be involved in a rugby club recently.

The unexpected benefit that sleds especially gave me were much better glute strength and activation which has had excellent cross-overs to squatting. As a guy not built for squatting (long legs, weak back) a 'two part squat' or 'good morning squats' were big issues once I fatigued. The extra glute development I got from sled runs has helped with this a lot though.

Do you need to take a rubber ring into the toilet with you?
