Can we take a moment to mourn the undertaker.....he looked an absolute mess last night, and its sad to see him in this way. Dont pull your top down when all your going to reveal is your paunchy belly and some tattooed moobs!

He should have retired 2/3 years ago!

Taker should have retired after the Brock match at Summerslam 2015

It was good Rumble storytelling, both in his possible impact on the result and the work he did in the ring.

Don't have him be the number 30 entrant, it's stupid and only gets people on his back. Have him come out earlier and have 30 be Undertaker or Goldberg. Obviously it could have been worse and Reigns could have won it all, but they basically did the second worst thing which was have him as a surprise entrant after all the big names were already out there, after having a brutal match and he was still pretty dominant.

Samoa Joe coming out and not winning is absolutely fine, Rollins coming out and being screwed would definitely have been better. Storytelling wise it would have worked if it was not Roman Reigns. At this point they're just asking fans to hate him. I've been a big fan of Reigns for a while, had no problem with his booking in 2014 and even 2015 wasn't too bad but the booking for that Rumble last night was dreadful and has certainly turned me against it.

I also completely disagree with having Orton win the Royal Rumble match if the plan is Wyatt/Orton. That Rumble match would have been a much bigger deal if they had gone with a Bray win. Then you could have had Luke and Orton in the EC with Orton told to just stop Luke winning, only for him to win the title himself, setting their match up and having the question of will Orton lay down for Bray.

Disagree with every single part. Goldberg story ruined coming in last, for me.

Mainly the Orton/Wyatt story you're telling. Think it makes more sense for Orton to help Wyatt win than the other way around. Wyatt would rather have Orton at his side on the night, so wouldn't want him as the champion, whereas here Wyatt holds the power over Orton and tells him to help make him Champ. Not a fan of the match itself as the title match on a Rumble win, but dont mind it

Except if Wyatt is Rumble winner, he's not going to be in the Elimination Chamber. If you have Luke Harper announced as an entrant, then it makes sense that Wyatt may want Orton to do anything to stop Harper winning, but not even consider that Orton might try and win the Chamber himself. That would help Luke Harper get more over as well, Wyatt would get the big Rumble win and then presumably can have a big title win at Wrestlemania rather than winning it in the EC.

He's been a very good wrestler (in comparison to his early run) for the last 5 years or so tbh. Still clumsy.

I'm not sure that's the best match Cena has ever had, but for me he's never looked like a better wrestler. Some of the moves he was pulling out were fantastic.

One of their earlier singles matches was fantastic - cant remember if it was the one where AJ went over clean or not.

His best for me is still MITB 2011 - partly because it was so surprising at the time he was able to put on a match that good, even with Punk

If you said to me beforehand that Cena could pull off a Canadian Destroyer and make it look as good as it did, i'd have laughed. Even some of the mat wrestling and transitions between submissions was excellent.

I was a tad confused when he tapped out of the STFU, i mean, it's the most excruciating submission known to man?!

That Canadian Destroyer genuinely shocked the hell out of me, and i must have re-watched it 5 times!

I wonder how much of it is AJ Styles convincing Cena to do some of those moves?

I remember Rollins on Talk is Jericho talking about how much he had to convince Orton to go for the Curb Stomp into RKO thing. Had to talk him out of playing it safe.

I don't know, but I imagine Styles and Cena would have a similar dynamic .

Really you've got to give props to both Orton and Cena for just how long they've have been going on full time WWE schedules at the top of the card.

Cena has used that move quite a few times in the past including in one of his other matches with Styles and with Kevin Owens, and others before that here's one example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSNOJdkxsEs but he hit it so much better at the Rumble against Styles than he ever has.

It was a Sunset Flip powerbomb rather than a Canadian Destroyer though, which is actually a piledriver so is banned in WWE.

It seems a break away and a drop down the card reinvigorated Cena. His work with the US title was amazing week in week out, and he's unrecognizable from his five moves of doom phase.

Orton has been good since the draft and joining the Wyatts but before that he'd been the same character and style since about 2009. Cant deny he is a fantastic wrestler but by christ has he been a bore for years.

Finn Balor failed his mid week medical which is why he wasnt in the Rumble. His spot was taken by Roman Reigns and they just went ahead with the planned finish. So the original plan was Balor to eliminate Taker which would set up their Mania match and Reigns would feud with Strowman right up to Mania.

Can Taker wrestle AJ? Needs to be someone that can make him look really good and will take care of him in the ring.

Also he is a Smackdown legend and it would be fitting to go out with a Smackdown feud

Not heard that anywhere and would be surprised if that was the case.

Expecting Reigns to beat Strowman at Fast Lane as a warm up for The Undertaker, then he'll beat 'Taker at Wrestlemania.

Much preffered Reigns intensity on RAW this week, makes the push a bit more pallatable.
