Players other than Dustin Johnson were chasing second place and Thomas Pieters charging 63 secured the runners up spot.  Four Fantasy Leaguers profited from the Belgian's round of the day.  Two of those Fantasy Leaguers, Sand and SetupDetermines, also had Johnson earning them beacoup de points.  Sand stopped scoring there but Setup was able to add another two scoring finishers to move, just like Johnson, out of sight at the top of the leaderboard.  Owen10ozzy matched Setup's scoring picks in number but not in quality.  Pedro had three scoring picks which was enough to hold onto second spot.  EmmDee57, Kwinigolfer, LadyPutt, McLaren, Raycastleunited, SirBenson, Super_Realist, and TheCleaver also had three scoring picks; EmmD, LP, Mac, and Super didn't have Johnson in their picks and LP did well to crack the top ten in spite of this.  AlciG, Be_the_Ball, Beninho, Davie, GPB, and Robopz also had two picks score points; Alci, Ben, and Davie didn't have Johnson.  Eyetoldyouso had the one scoring pick but it was the best one, I'm Never Wrong failed to trouble the scorers.

Alci and LP were the other two Fantasy Leaguers to have Pieters.

The majority of the world's elite players are gathering at Riviera Country Club for the Genesis Open.  Jason Day headlines as world number one and seven others from the top ten are also playing with just Rory McIlroy and Henrik Stenson missing the party.  Bubba Watson is the defending champion with impressive course form having won twice in the last three years.  Other former champions in the field include James Hahn, John Merrick, Bill Haas, Aaron Baddeley, Steve Stricker, Charles Howell III, Adam Scott, and Ernie Els.  There have been a few back to back winners, most recently Mickelson, but no one has had three in a row although Ben Hogan fans would argue that he did win three times in a row at Riviera; one of them being the U.S. Open sandwiched between his wins in 1948 & 1949

There are three Categories where you will need pick three players, plus reserve, from each one.  There are bonus points available if you get all of your picks through in any category.  Get all 9 picks through and you get an even bigger bonus.  It's all way down at the bottom in the scoring section if you are interested.

This is a full field with cut event, cut points will be available; see above.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 9 players as follows:

Pick 3 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 9 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

Yes, you are correct on Kelly Kraft, ranked 171, being in Cat C. There was 139 players listed out of a field of 144 when I copied it yesterday. I would hazard a guess that he made it in the field due to his second place at the AT&T.

These changes are good TC. You can make changes to your lineup right up until the players involved tee off, obviously once they start then they can't be added to, or removed from, your picks.

A weather interupted first round finished with Sam Saunders sitting pretty at the top of the leaderboard after a round of 64. Six players are two shots back after their rounds of 66 and two of them were picks. The popular Dustin Johnson earned points for the vast majority of the Fantasy Leaguers that scored points in round one while John Huh was a points scorer for AlciG.

Round two was called off due to inclement weather and is set to resume on Saturday morning.

Round two eventually finished and some players decided not to return; three of those were picks.  Twenty five other picks missed the cut which fell at even par.  No one managed to keep the whole set and cut bonuses were at a premium.  AlciG, Beninho, and Owen10ozzy have the most picks left with seven.  Having six picks left is quite popular with Davie, Kwinigolfer, LadyPutt, McLaren, Pedro, Raycastleunited, Robopz, SetupDetermines, and SirBenson all in that group.  Kwini, Pedro, Ray, Robo, Setup, and SirB all earned a cut bonus from their picks.  EmmDee57, Eyetoldyouso, GPB, Sand, Super_Realist, and TheCleaver all have five picks left; EmmD, Eye, and GPB earned the final cut bonuses.  Be_the_Ball has four picks left while I'm Never Wrong has just two.

Cameron Tringale had the low round after a score of 64.  Both Davie and Kwini had Tringale in their selections.

Dustin Johnson continued putting the field to the sword with a round of 64 but it wasn't the best of the third round.  Wesley Bryan shot 63 for that honour while rounds of 68 were enough to score points in the Top 10 Low Round scores.  Eight other Fantasy League picks joined Dustin Johnson in the points.  Pedro had the most picks in that scoring group as four of his did so; that was enough to move to the top of the leaderboard.  Beninho, Owen10ozzy, Raycastleunited, SirBenson, and TheCleaver all had three scoring picks.  EmmDee57, Kwinigolfer, LadyPutt, McLaren, Robopz, and Super_Realist all had two scoring picks while AlciG, Be_the_Ball, Davie, Eyetoldyouso, GPB, Sand, and SetupDetermines all had one scoring pick.

Players other than Dustin Johnson were chasing second place and Thomas Pieters charging 63 secured the runners up spot. Four Fantasy Leaguers profited from the Belgian's round of the day. Two of those Fantasy Leaguers, Sand and SetupDetermines, also had Johnson earning them beacoup de points. Sand stopped scoring there but Setup was able to add another two scoring finishers to move, just like Johnson, out of sight at the top of the leaderboard. Owen10ozzy matched Setup's scoring picks in number but not in quality. Pedro had three scoring picks which was enough to hold onto second spot. EmmDee57, Kwinigolfer, LadyPutt, McLaren, Raycastleunited, SirBenson, Super_Realist, and TheCleaver also had three scoring picks; EmmD, LP, Mac, and Super didn't have Johnson in their picks and LP did well to crack the top ten in spite of this. AlciG, Be_the_Ball, Beninho, Davie, GPB, and Robopz also had two picks score points; Alci, Ben, and Davie didn't have Johnson. Eyetoldyouso had the one scoring pick but it was the best one, I'm Never Wrong failed to trouble the scorers.

Alci and LP were the other two Fantasy Leaguers to have Pieters.
