Yes you...step forward Mr Alexander Walter Barr Lyle.
Let's raise a glass to Sandy on his birthday, the guy who ended the drought of British winners of our own Open (after a 16 year wait) and was the first Brit to win the Masters and help cement that golden European period of domination of the Masters.
With the Open going back to Sandwich this year lets hope we'll finally have another British win to celebrate.

Well JAS, as fellow Scots it's only right that we raise a glass to the Big Yin! Is Sandy the finest purveyor of 7 iron bunker shots in history? :606laugh:
I'd say the chances of another British win in the Open are as good as they have ever been in my lifespan, just need one of our big names to step up to the plate
