Well it certainly looks nice, but it should be noted that video and image is CGI.
What we see at the official unveiling may look rather different.

Re: 2017 Car Launch Dates
Thumbs up for the Renault, always liked that yellow & black livery. Disappointed in the FI, that step-nose is horrible & the regulations seem to encourage these shark fins, which just look aesthetically hideous.

Agree with John.
Generally very nice-looking cars, only spoiled by the awful fins (and in FI's case the stepped nose).
Still not convinced the new regs are going to result in better racing - just what we had last season, only 3-4 seconds a lap quicker.
Apparently Pirelli have been instructed to produce tyres that will allow drivers to push more, which will hopefully result in less tyre management in the first and middle stints. Will this help faster cars overtake, or just result in quicker processions?

Re: 2017 Car Launch Dates
That Mercedes looks sublime, a perfectly sculpted beast. Such a tight rear end behind those side pods & no ridiculous shark fin

Re: 2017 Car Launch Dates
That's just going to lead to overheating like RB when they packaged it that tightly. Also their trying out a longer shark fin at testing so wouldn't get your hopes up

Holy crap - look at the McLaren!
Its back to the 70s! I like the new look - apart from the fin.
...and here's the new Ferrari...

Re: 2017 Car Launch Dates
The McLaren just looks like an old orange Arrows or Spyker. Awful livery. Early look at that front wing, suggest they've gone all radical again in the design & the they hid the diffuser during the presentation.
The Ferrari looks like......a Ferrari. Fairly dull.

Re: 2017 Car Launch Dates
If McLaren wanted to use orange as the primary colour, they should've used white as the secondary colour like back in the 80s/90s. This orange/white looks ugly.
I don't see why Ferrari are now using a lighter shade of red, back in double diffuser day, they used a darker red which looked much better

Must admit I preferred the older Ferrari red, from the late 80s, early 90s when Gerhardt Berger was driving for them.
It looked the absolute business with the gold wheels...

Think thats a bit harsh. I would say its certainly not pretty. It looks very angular - like its been made out of Meccano or something. But its quite an interesting design IMO. A bit like the year they went really radical with their sidepod and rear design (didn't work out well as I recall).
Now the Williams design I would say looks pretty conservative...

Interesting nose on the RB13. I'm guessing Newey has really gone to town this winter & will have something up his sleeve. I do like the new Toro Rosso livery, many elements of Mercedes in its design too.
