Skipped to the last segment.

One of the best Raw segments since the FOF. Face Rollins is a lot better when he doesn't cut promos and just does cool heroic stuff

Member the Authority? Member how good it was? Lets do that again.

Seems like they've realized that the first time round the Authority was a bomb, and this is the setup they should have had the first time round and are flat out trying again.

HHH bringing in a batch of fresher talent as his muscle/protégés instead of Orton, Kane, Noble and Mercury(still perplexing).

Bring Angle in as GM to replace Foley

Sounds a lot better this time yeah. Just needs less Steph

They are always going to chase the success that they got out of Austin vs McMahon. It was the greatest boom in their history. You could hear Steph trying to echo it when she said you should all go and thank your bosses the next day.

Also doing a weird reversal of the usual formula on Smackdown with heel AJ vs face Shane

The biggest problem I have is this world WWE have created where men and women never have any physical contact, so Steph will never get her comeuppance. Austin/McMahon worked so well because you had a scenario where the disgruntled employee took out his frustrations by beating the hell out of his boss which is something a lot of working people fantasize about, but cant get away with so this was the outlet.

More so than ever in this day in age we have the spoiled rich girl running the show and ordering employees around and treating them like dirt, but wont ever get taken down a peg or two. Thats not satisfying story telling, its infuriating and turns people away.

The best villains are the ones that make you hate them and make you want to see them get theirs, but when you know that wont happen in WWE in this case you stop caring and just want them to go away.

Bravo...spot on Samo..

I was going to mention the whole 'new authority/Evolution' angle...

Cant be the only one who doesnt want to see it again surely...I mean yes its a great way to get fresh talent on screen and in a main event scene...but do we really think thats the case? Or is it simply a matter of HHH and more importantly Steph wanting to stay in the limelight longer.

Even if the intentions are good its like samo said...none of them get theirs at the end..not properly, they just come crawling back out of the woodwork few months later...i mean in the last 5 years youve had an authority angle/underdog prevailing over HHH multiple times..Daniel Bryan..Roman Reigns...Sting...the angle is just boring now.

Also...did anyone else find the way they ran Mick down extremely uncomfortable...obviously the lines between kayfabe/ real are blurred more than ever but for some reason i just found some of last night uncomfortable viewing in terms of seeing a legend flogged like that!

I wonder whether Rollins is actually going to wrestle at Mania...last night felt like a tie over to have an explanation as to why he cant make it..i.e. his rehab was going well but HHH has officially taken him out of Mania..

Kurt Angle for GM rumours are picking up steam...by all accounts he isnt going to wrestle again which is a shame as id have liked to have seen him go up against the likes of Joe, Owens etc...now im just praying we get a steph/kurt angle like the attitude era. Ha still buckles me thinking back to those segments

Steph got thrown into the mud pit that time by Vickie on her way out

And the bit with Rousey at WM

Cant think of any other times she got any comeuppance in the modern era. Orton RKO'd her but she was a face then

I don't think Seth would be legit cleared to take any type of bump let alone hit the ropes and stuff if he was still technically injured, their insurance wouldn't allow it at all, I think it confirms Rollins/HHH to be honest.

He's apparently been cleared for limited duty and just needs to be protected for the next few weeks to allow his knee to heal fully but doubt he will go in at 100% but in good enough shape to pull out a decent match

Probably see him taken out the next night on Raw and take a few weeks off

If theres one person you'd trust to get you through a safe match with that kind of injury its HHH. He knows all too well the risks so I would like to think he'd know how to protect Seth as much as possible.

Foley did excellent there, I suddenly had a huge desire for him to go one more time.

Good Raw. Can see the interest in HHH setting up a new guys stable.

Steph did get speared last Mania, remember, but the comeuppance isnt a physical thing. It doesnt need to be. She doesnt need to get physical comeuppance at all, she needs to have her plans beaten. But they dont
