Quiz Question of the Day

To celebrate the start of the Champions Trophy or for want of a better excuse, I thought I would give you this quiz question I came across the other day and rather liked.

You are not allowed to use google etc although you can ask your wife or partner.

Anyway, here goes.

Please name the three winners of the UK's Strictly Come Dancing tv programme who are former first class cricketers.

I think those are correct. The third one seems very tricky, I'll start the process of elimination by saying it's not Ian Austin

I'm pretty sure at least one of those won before I moved to the UK in mid 2006 mind

Just checked, Ramprakash was in late '06 - granted at the time I was working near Leeds during the week & in London weekends.

Even I knew those two but the third escapes me...

Surprised Tuffers hasn't had a go at it.

Yep, the tv presenter Chris Hollins and winner of Strictly played eight first class matches for Oxford University in the mid-'90s and ended that part of his sporting career with an impressive batting average of almost 52.
