Very sensible statement from a players perspective. I'm sure changes will be brought in but surely needs to be in partnership between union and league and an acknowledgment of the burdens placed on players. Currently seems clubs in England at least are pretty good at gauging their players but youngs and ford have bother spoken out against these proposals while saying they are probably right to limit now. no easy fix for the expansion of the game, the global calendar and playing safety etc especially while clubs and international teams battle it out for access.
