Time to kickstart this baby...rumours that Kolasinac has signed a deal to go to Arsenal and that Inter are prepared to make Pochettino the highest paid manager in the world to take their job

I'd take him as one of two strikers but would worry about him as our main one. We also have enough injury risk players.

Salah looks done for Liverpool. They're gonna be fun

Could be a cute way for Terry to break into management.

Bruce makes a bad start, the board pulls the trigger and John Boy saves the day....

He should go Brum and then let do to Arry what Arry did to Billy Bonds. Poetic stabbing in the back.

Suspect that all the stories about him leaving were his agent leveraging for this new deal then.

Spain's taxation system seems a bit mental.

Mourinho has already had his tax affairs in Spain investigated and paid an additional 1.15 million euros in tax, the equivalent of the inland revenue think it is done and dusted but the prosecutor isn't happy for some reason.

Juve accused of agreeing to pay Raiola a large percentage of any future transfer fee if he brought Pogba to Juventus for free.

He's been in talks with us, Brighton and Swansea and said he wouldn't make a decision until after the Euro's.

We sold Nordtveit, which in itself is a marvel. At least £4m, Sky thinks it's 8. He's gone to Germany, and Reece Oxford has gone on loan to Nordtveit's old club Monchengladbach. Really happy with that as they've shown they play and develop young players, especially defenders.

Easy to say in hindsight but it was a move that made very little sense at the time and if I recall it was Raiola who was trying to force Fergie's hand.

Seems that Salah will go through at £34 million.

I assume every final negotiation of a large transfer move for Liverpool is to confirm that the fee is lower than Andy Carroll's.

never really took off in his first stint at lactics, looked like he had ability but showed it more after he left. (hardly the first, o'grady etc) problem being with strikers at oldham is soon as they start banging them in they get sold

Hoping Shez can bring out the best in him again like he did in his first stint here and at Chesterfield. I'm happy we've actually signed someone before the new season starts and not lost any key players (so far)!

Agree that's one of the reasons we've spent 20 years in this division! Boundary Park = Strikers graveyard.

Despite the likes of James Robson (M.E.N. reporter) stating Utd weren't interested in Fabinho, the player himself has said in a tv interview he'd be interested in a move to Utd, speculation it's going to be around 30-35m.
Would be very happy to acquire him, for me a much better option than Matic or Dier to work in a midfield with Herrera & Pogba.

I posted earlier in this topic that he'd be our signing of the summer. Really like the thought of that midfield. I haven't seen enough of Dier to warrant whatever extravagant fee Spurs would ask for and I don't see Matic as much as an upgrade on Fellaini tbh

As is always though until I see them wearing the shirt I'll take every press report or interview with a pinch of salt

Yeah just seen the MEN have broken the story, which makes me doubt its legitimacy anyway but I'll back Jose although I'm not bowled over when Chelsea are happy to let him go so easily. Should set alarm bells ringing right there

I said earlier I don't see matic as an upgrade on fellaini (granted I'd probably trust him more as Fellaini is clumsy)

Certainly not going to go in to meltdown like some of the United fans on Twitter

He's much better than Fellaini, but does bode more to Mourinho's defensive tendencies. Squad game, he might not play a big part against your Brightons or Huddersfields

He is better than Fellaini, not sure massively though. Great 2 seasons ago, largely exposed the following season, then decent this year with Kante effectively doing most of the work in front of him.

Hes trusted by Mourinho though, which would be the clincher over a Fabinho etc
