I do a fair bit of commuting so listen to quite a few:

Football Ramble
Football Weekly (Guardian Podcast)
Nessun Dorma (podcast about 80's/90's football)
On the Continent (offshoot of the Football Ramble)
Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast (usually very funny interviews with comedians and actors).
My Dad Wrote a Porno
Dan Snow's History Hit
In Our Time (hosted by Melvyn Bragg and lets me pretend I'm knowledgeable about high-brow subjects).

I have a few for commuting too...

Athletico Mince - Bob Mortimer & Andy Dawson, start from Episode 8, its genius, loosely based on football, but covers a lot of other things, Gangs of the EPL, Peter Beardsley now he is sacked, Steve McLaren and his pet snake Casper!

My Dad Wrote a Porno - mainly cos Alice Levine is really hot, but its worth a laugh!

Totally Football Show - James Richardson (Gazetta fame) covers the weeks games with a panel of regulars, good knowledge and not too serious! Some funny banter.

Richard Herrings Leicester Square Podcast - decent interviews, good guests....go straight to Brian Blessed - best thing you will listen to all year!

Some of my favourites are

We Hate Movies - taking the piss out of bad movies, always good for a laugh.

How Did This Get Made - another movie one but done by Americans, the people on are in films.

OSW Review - a Wrestling and bad movie podcast from Ireland, these guy are amazing, they are on YouTube as well.

Punt PI - if anybody remembers Steve Punt from the 90's, he looks at mysteries from the past with a funny twist

Also any by Richard Herring, love all his podcasts even the snooker one where he plays against himself.

Been binge listening to Cheap Show podcast (the economy comedy podcast) Two friends recount stories from charity shops and DJ sets, review cheap knock off food items and play cheap boardgames from decades ago. All delivered with more than an air of Ade Edminson and Rik Mayal. If you liked Bottom this is for you. Also, very liberal use of the word ‘Kumquat’ so not for the easily offended.
