Weather's not great in Edinburgh - still a certain Arctic quality to the wind and the chill is knifing it's way through the locals' tracksuits.

I think Scotland has a weather equivalent of the Thames barrier to prevent a natural and national disaster if the temperature rose above 10.

Basically had the A/C on since mid September last year... it has been a brutally hot summer here. It's only in the last few days that the maximum temp has dropped below 25. Tuesday was a comparatively chilly 21. Looking forward to the 8-10 weeks of 'winter'.
