I wouldn't say it was a robbery, I wasn't impressed at all by Pastore who I think gave the ball away far too often, Telles did well getting forward at LWB but not quite the same on the right from Juanfran, Suarez didn't show up, and someone (Sanabria?) managed to hit the bar when it looked easier to score. Tactically I think the 5-3-2 gives me more solidity, only problem is it doesn't stop players smashing it into the top bins from 25 yards Laugh

Who was it that tackled Matuidi on the edge of your box to then give it back to him for the goal? You want a word with him!

There is also a comedy moment in there with Reus, I think when he has been caught offside. It pans in on his reaction and in the background you just see the ball floating past in mid-air by itself

Interesting note that something I tried definitely worked.

I purposely had no attacking players on my bench so that the CPU couldn't sub off Bernardo or Suarez, and it worked, with ineffective subbing of defenders and midfielders taking place instead

Noticed that and good play.

Only stip which I mentioned a few weeks ago and just wish to reaffirm is no team can have more than 1 keeper on the bench as keepers as far as I can tell NEVER get subbed on.

I thought about using that tactic but only works if you have good depth, otherwise it could backfire.

Also if it subs in players whose main position isn't part of the formation then it can change the tactics.

I weighed it up before and decided it wasn't worth the risk. Also players are noticeably less effective as they tire, so its not always the best thing to have someone who stays on the whole game.

It is far better to have the depth that whoever comes on is good enough.

I did see that! Reus and his magic Laugh

Not sure who tackled Matuidi ineffectively, but it's not that much of an issue to me, as nobody would have expected Matuidi to smash it in like that, on what's supposed to be his weaker foot too!

Question - I just bought Maolida from afro, who had him in his youth academy. I am going to be putting him in my first team squad. Do I still need to start him twice for him to get a tm value?

Also I'll get my tactics in this evening.

Pretty much mine although think you're missing a certain Portugeezer, shows the balance is spread out well between the teams.
