Goodnight Argies. Time to rack up the tries and put them out of the tournament. No idea how Nige missed it in real time.

A definite red but Argentina can feel slightly hard done by with the amount of other hits that have escaped punishment this tournament.
I cant see Argentina getting remotely close now.
Watson tackles in the air? Could we see another card?

Argentina started well nearly scored a try in the opening minutes, Johnny may covering saved us.
A red card for Argentina for a no arms tackle.

Players not tackling within the rules are ruining rugby. I hated that decision but it was always a red and could have very easily been a legal tackle by going lower

Odd how it is a timing issue for England but not for Argentina...
Consistency.

He should have been. For the number of pens England have conceded and the times the ref has had to speak to both teams if nothing else

I get that but I feel if ye are going to penalise and punish one then the other should be as well. Taking a player out in the air could easily be a Red/Yellow card.

You’re right Billy, it ‘could’ be. Each incident needs to be assessed individually, not just cards handed out without good reason.

Come on billy, you can't compare a shoulder to the jaw and a tackle 6 inches off the ground where the player is put down gently

Wouldn't mind seeing the "World's Best Ref's" position for that red again. Shocking call to say the tackle was okay live.

The hit on Farrell, definite red card. Even though Farrell was leaning back. It was a cynical late, high hit. Tuilagi, tackle in the air did not end badly but was equally cynical in my opinion (not really a 'timing issue' so could have been deemed a yellow card. That and given the amount of cynical offences England committed in the lead up could have seen a calmative yellow card.
This game is very messy and both teams are guilty.

Tbf Bam i found a little selection and there is a high hit in that when farrell is playing for saracens. I'm sure that is what Maes is referring to.
