Sorry I've been quiet guys - dealing with the world falling apart! If the disease doesn't get me, the collapse of business surely will. I'm assuming everybody else is seeing this now? Everything is just at a standstill if you're not retail or medical.

It's crazy out there, although at the same time our work have been classed as Key Workers so it's currently business as usual for me.

My wife has to home school the kids

It is indeed crazy and writing the show brought a little normality to proceedings for me. I work with vulnerable children who have nowhere else to go so I’ll be continuing to work right through it all. Feel for anyone anywhere that has to remain working but in all honesty I think it’s taking its toll on everyone

I think the worst thing is people don't know how long it will last or how bad it will get. Feels like we will find out come April.

Evening all, been a while, hope all's as well as can be at the moment

Can't help but feel that my return has been slightly overshadowed by real life events!

The Boris announcement has slightly knocked the stuffing out of me (no euphemism) but I've got plenty of free evenings coming up now! So I'll get a promo posted later in the week

It is very strange times, and worrying as well. But if anything it does show the importance of community, especially an online one after last nights announcement. Whether it is 6CW, one of the other areas or V2 as a whole. In fact if 6CW wasn't going on right now, I would bet that we would have started it back up again.

Just got to make the best of things I suppose.....what are people having for lunch?

I work in publishing and I'm busier than ever.

However, I do have cabin fever having been in the house for nearly two weeks.

Well im medically unable to do heavy physical activity. But im hoping that work reopens n i reapply there, i really enjoyed it there. i'm not in a position where no job means financial difficulty.

What's the likelihood you'll be back after furlough? 

For some, furlough isn't too bad, essentially just a holiday paid at 80%. For others, furlough is essentially just redundancy-in-waiting.

I think when they realise he didn't do much other than post on here, gamble and call Ed a nonce on FB he's probably a dead man walking.

Never say never but it's highly likely to be 80% holiday, as they don't want to actually close, they are leaving it as late as possible

I am preparing properly though, by cancelling my annual leave for May (because I'd be wasting it for a mere 20% increase...)

'I fought the law' by the Clash has just come on the radio at work / home. Because it was Cameron Faith's / Nay's entrance music I now associate that with him and this place / 6WF.

Are there any other songs that you instantly know associate with here, other than your own character's music? 'They Say' because of Cassius and 'Monster' for Saint are probably the two others for me

Didn't realise it was showday I'd assumed they were every other Monday!

I've picked Marshall's entrance 'papercut' when I first started, never seen the need to change it. I did like the song but more so because I can imagine the first 20 seconds or so of the song really working as an entrance with the lighting flashing etc

Hi Marsh, yeah as my musical knowledge is pants I just picked songs I knew whose titles fitted the character. "Black Shuck" for The Consultancy was chosen because I could imagine the words in the chorus being replaced with No Win No Fee.

Joshua had a heartbeat which I think worked really well as you didn't need to know a song to envisage it

I think it was Dolph who ages and ages ago did some actual video entrances for characters which was cool. Just added another layer like Lee's and Liam's character art.
