WATCH WALES v SOUTH AFRICA AND RAISE MONEY FOR A WORTHWHILE CAUSE
From the Cardiff Blues Supporters Web Site -
Following discussions with our players Casey Laulala and Michael Paterson following the terrible earthquakes in Christchurch a few months ago, Cardiff Blues Supporters' Club are arranging a Rugby World Cup Brunch under the banner of 'Welsh Sporting Friends of Christchurch'. The fundraiser will be held on Sunday 11th September 2011 at the The Parc Hotel, Cardiff in celebration of Wales' opening game in the Rugby World Cup against South Africa - with a drinks reception, brunch, the match on the big screen and a charity auction - see our advert below for more details. Tickets are available in our shop - We will add further details of the event, the charities which we are raising funds for and the auction items! as soon as we know them. We do hope that you can join us, along with family, friends and colleagues and help us to raise money for this cause.

This is the venue:
http://www.thistle.com/hotels/united_kingdom/cardiff/the_parc_hotel/index.html?tmcampid=11&tmad=c&tmplaceref=ggl2_thuk_782&gclid=CI-zh6ft1qoCFZRc4Qodu3ha5w
It's right in the city centre just off Queen Street (the main shopping street) if anyone fancies a day out.

They should at least say what or who they are going to donate the money to don't get me wrong it's a excellent idea but people like to know where their money is going.
Personally I would not donate a penny if the money was used to repair a church roof but a children's hospice is another story.

Conditional charity, eh?
I suspect it'll be a general appeal like this:

Yes Cari it's conditional due to the fact one is a large wealthy organisation and the other does some good

Depends what church it is and what significance it holds in the community.

I don't want this descending into a slanging match As Cari said it's probably a general appeal initially and then details of specific individual charities will be revealed later
