[solved]Taker the White
Alright lads and ladettes. Well after RAW last night i find myself in abit of a pickle, on the one side i think it was a decent, although predictable RAW. However on the other hand im thinking, what could have been? Let me digress.
Has anyone seen the film trilogy of 'The Lord of the Rings' - Well im guessing you have.
Gandalf the Grey plays a leader figure, stronger than most with mystic like powers, much like the Undertaker, and during the first film he falls off a bridge and everybody assumes him to be gone forever, much like the Undertaker. (Im getting to my point). Gandelf then returns in the second film and no longer is he a scruffy looking wizard, hes now dressed in the whitest of white, and looks in good nick. Everybody is struck in awe and he now seems stronger, faster and more mystic than ever...
Which leads me to my point, Take returned, as the same old Taker, what would you guys think of a "re-birthed Taker"? I know we had Mordecai but thats was a blip in the pan. Maybe if the Undertake turned as the slightly more mysterious, god-like, and more powerful figure, it would be appreciative to both sides of the audience, the kids get the Taker back, and creates new excitement with one of their favourite characters. (Although i don't get why because he used to scare the Poopie out of me as a kid) and us adults get something some of us have been longing for, a fresh turn in a worn out character which creates just a spark of excitement about Taker...
Please feel free to comment.

Re: [solved]Taker the White
SV2,
Ages ago on 606 i suggested the exact same thing, the lights go off, a massive lightening storm effect takes place and in the ring 'Taker appears dressed in white as a new, reborn Taker.
It was poo-poo'd. But i think it would be brilliant, would be his final run and then he could retire a god.

I love this idea too, would be really freaky. The Taker character could do with some sort of change, I would love to see the Ministry Taker back.
And I agree Shockmaster, he scared the carp out of me as a kid too, I hated his entrance. Compare his modern entrance now to the one he used at SummerSlam 1997 against Bret, the fireworks went off and Bret nearly carped himself. Taker was a scary dude back then.

KB - Would definately appeal to all aspects of the target audience, and can't believe people would ridicule your valued input.
Animal - Those were the days, although now i find myself trying to explain to my 7 year old Nephew who exactly is the best superstar on the roster. I've had to continuously tell him the Undertaker isn't a bad guy, he actually works as an Undertaker at our local cemetary, god i can't wait for the day he goes down, and realises i've lied to him! I'm such a heel.
