Bradford.
Soldier Field is rumoured to be massively cut up - they canceled a public practice session there 2/3 weeks ago because it was deemed unsafe.
Unless they've worked miracles I expect to see run, run and more run from noth teams.

Cedric Benson has been inside this week, I'm sure he's fit and well but 5 days slopping out is not ideal preparation for a game, Tolbert is a must starter.
Chiefs defend the run well and I think Buffalo will be forced to air it out chasing the game, Lynch maybe ? ? ?

I'm assuming these are all different leagues

Romo - Revis can only cover one man, would fancy both Bryant and Austin against Cromartie

Maclin - Fancy him against the Rams

Desean and Roddy - Rams can't cover Jackson, the Falcons will throw at some point and it will be to Roddy, I just wouldnt bench the studs in the first week

Pettigrew - Stafford's number 2 option, Keller has the running game, Holmes and Plax to beat out

Tampa sucked at run defense last year so I'd say best.

I'd take Winslow over Daniels. He's Freeman's favourite.

I'd take maclin over Knox because of soldier field.

Owen Daniels.

Not sure I would be starting Maclin just yet, as far as I am aware he isn't fully back to the shape he was in last season and will be behind Jackson and Smith in terms of targets.

Should I choose Miles Austin despite his questionable thigh and limited practice, or do I start one of Jeremy Avant against the Rams, Mike Sims-Walker or Brandon Gibson against the Eagles or Anthony Armstrong against the Giants?

Which two from Roethlisberger, Stafford, Flacco or Sanchez?

Hightower has looked good.

Of the following positions, I have to start 2 of 3. Who do you recommend?

RB -- Forte v. Falcons (at wretched Soldier Field); Hillis v Bengals; Tolbert v. Vikings

WR -- Brandon Lloyd v Oakland; Mike Williams (Tampa) v Lions; Plaxico Burress v. Cowboys

I'm concerned about my Slotback, Marion Barber, possibly not playing, but probably not as much as the Bears coaches who wanted to keep Chester Taylor.

I would go for Hillis, Mike Williams for sure, then I guess the ball has got to be run at soldier field so Forte is the next best option

2 of 4 of jackson (KC), tolbert (vikes), benson (browns), lynch (49ers)

Start Bradford the Rams are passing team and have 3 good targets in Walker, Amendoal and Kendricks, also start Tolbert he will see goal line action the jury is still out on Matthews. Sit Benson the Browns have a solid front 7 and are built to stop the rush. Lynch has an ankle injury but if cleared is worth starting as Jackson is under centre and not a qood QB

always look to start Forte he is an everydown Back and is the Bears main weapon in the back field, who runs and catches MB is a short yardage guy, and is best used in deep RB leagues where 3-4 RB start.

Hillis should run all over the Bengals defense. Oakland were fairly poor at defending the pass last year (think they ranked somewhere in the 20's in terms of fantasy points given up) and they've lost one of the best CB's in the league with Orton throwing the ball Lloyd should have a big day. I'd say both Mike Williams and Forte are likely to score well, I would expect the Falcons to know that passing is going to be difficult at Soldier Field so will be preparing to face the run regularly.

11 things to know about the Week One injury report

1. Marion Barber (calf) is out for the Bears. This sounds rather familiar for Cowboys fans. Kahlil Bell will back up Matt Forte.

2. The Chiefs will be without first round wide receiver Jonathan Baldwin, still recovering from Thomas Jones‘ beat down. Tackle Jared Gaither (knee) is questionable after missing practice Friday.

3. All systems are go for Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel. He’s probable after practicing all week despite his rib injury.

4. The Panthers could be without right tackle Jeff Otah (knee) and linebacker Jon Beason (ankle.) Both players are questionable.

5. Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson’s return from a torn biceps muscle is such a non-issue that he’s listed as probable.

6. The Bengals will likely be without two new pickups in the secondary. CB Kelly Jennings and S Taylor Mays are doubtful.

7. Peyton Manning is listed on the injury report. (As out of course.) We wonder if the Colts regret taking him off the PUP list. S Antoine Bethea (hamstring), WR Austin Collie (foot), and WR Anthony Gonzalez (hamstring) are all questionable but seem likely to be ready.

8. Giants DL Justin Tuck (neck, questionable) returned for a limited practice on Friday. It looks like he may give it a shot on Sunday.

9. Redskins tight end Chris Cooley will be a gametime decision after being limited in practice all week with a knee injury. Safety LaRon Landry is out.

10. Seahawks guard Robert Gallery and wideout Sidney Rice are both doubtful, which is about what we expected. Rough starts for two expensive free agents.

11. The Titans will be without second year pass rusher Derrick Morgan. Backup running back Javon Ringer is a gametime decision, but is looking unlikely to play.

Derby - nothing in the Ravens/Steelers stats makes any sense to me.
Honestly, Ravens putting up all them points on one of the top defences in football and Steelers turning the thing over 7 times ? ? ?
Game was summed up for Steelers by allowing a punter to walk in for a 2 point conversion

Man, I wish I would have started Tolbert -- he was a fantasy football monster. Peyton Hillis -- not so much :'(

I dont know whether to ditch Barber or not, what with his history of injuries. I could pick up Early Doucet and plug him into my Slot position and drop Barber. Doucet had a good game, but don't know if it's something that will happen frequently, though I'm thinking he might see action when they try to stop Fitz. Of course, Doucet seems to get hurt too.

Grizzly - I know I highly doubt I was ever going to start Flacco, I was even thinking I should drop Rice as he was up against one of the leagues best run defenses, very glad I didn't he was my top scorer with 26.9 points. Not sure if Flacco's performance has helped my decision for next week, Roethlisberger vs Seahawks, Stafford vs Chiefs, Sanchez vs Jaguars, Flacco vs Titans can see them all getting big scores.
