No Edgbaston in 2013?

That is shocking, and very short sighted.

Not only is it one of our most successful grounds, but it is bang in the middle of the country, making it the most practical ground. After the redevelopment, it is second only to Lord's, too.

I suppose if you consider TB and Edgebaston as the 2 main grounds in the middle of the country, both will have staged 3 tests in the last 4 Ashes series.

Lords and the Oval were always going to be a given. Bit surprised we got 2 tests, thought we might have missed out altogether.

Still not a fan of Ashes tests in Cardiff. The Ashes tests should be in the main big grounds in England.

I will certainly be looking to go in 2013 at Durham.

Surprised the Rose Bowl haven't been picked to host any of the matches.

Can I ask, because I honestly have no idea, how come the Oval automatically gets a Test match? Obviously you have to play at Lord's so why do you need two in London in every series, it takes a match away from somewhere else more deserving.

As a Welshman, I am delighted that Cardiff has a Test! Look at the last two tests that have been there, Aus and SL, they have both had thrilling finishes.

With an away series in between one would assume, making Mr. Scholes correct.

Oval is a automatic selection because of the population of London and its pretty financially rewarding for the ECB

Suprised Headingley didn't get at least one test out of the 2 tours.
